i love it when that happens cause 99% of the time when actors have chemistry as invidiuals the show has to be amazing! + they are all talented, the acting is incredible and every single man/woman bringing the show to life made this breathtaking masterpiece of a series
Yeah no, they were completely aware of what they were doing and that's why they were able to whip out this absolutely otherworldly 3 seasons long masterpiece. Sure they were confused at times lmao but they could understand the assignment successfully! ;))

I never knew Gillian was British! I watched her in X-Files and Hannibal, and she had that “boarding school/upper crust New England” accent but I thought she was raised in New England, but one of the less noticeable state accents like Rhode Island or Connecticut.

The fourth series was supposed to focus on Clarice Starling and Hannibal and the Buffalo Bill murders-however, MGM owns the rights to Silence of the Lambs and the name Clarice Starling-they won’t release them, and they are releasing their own series, Clarice, on CBS, about the aftermath of Silence. Seeing as MGM is doing their own show and still retain rights, Hannibal the series won’t ever be able to bring up the events of Silence of the Lambs or Clarice Starling-which was what the first 3 seasons of Hannibal was leading up to. We could have a 4th season of Hannibal, but it will not have Jame Gumb, Clarice Starling, etc.

They wanted season 4 to focus on Clarice Starling and Buffalo Bill, but MGM owns the rights to Silence of the Lambs and is premiering their own spin off, Clarice, on CBS. The first 3 seasons were building up to Clarice’s entrance and storyline, but they couldn’t get the rights. Also cancellation due to network politics. If Netflix gets on board, they can certainly do a 4th season, but it won’t follow the arc Thomas Harris wrote (which they’ve already altered and made their own with the series Hannibal, so it honestly would be interesting to see new things come about).
