Peppino reminds me of those random cartoon characters that are quite normal, but due to some recurring interactions with the wacky main character, becomes a completely derranged person. I love it.
I think thats entirely his gimmick, when calm he's quite chill and generally uncaring, very paranoid when faced with danger, but the moment he's had it with someone he will bulldoze them into the deepest pit of hell.

A game that's all gameplay no fluff with loads of personality loses to some normiecore artsy indie puzzler. Imagine my shock. Serious gamers don't take the game awards seriously and no one is going to remember cocoon in a year. Pizza Tower will win in the end.

This game is to platformers, what Dusk was to the retro-fps genre. A throwback to the past and a step in the direction of ultra-speed and skill. I got an adrenaline rush just watching this trailer. The demo is an absolute blast as well.

The game is a bizarre, surreal experience that captures the Wario land feel mixed with a bit of Sonic. I haven't gotten an adrenaline rush from playing a platformer in a long time. I was on the edge of my seat trying to P rank even just the first levels in the game. Absolute blast.

Holy shit, how have I not heard of this before? The stylized art here is incredible as well as pleasingly colorful, the music is bouncy and fun, the animation flows like melted butter, and it looks fun as hell.
I feel like the characters are never doing the same animation twice. The cartoony art style and great soundtrack paired with fast paced gameplay looks great. I haven't even played it yet and it's my favorite game

Like example: TV HUD still uses shaders for Peppino clothes; Blue trail when Peppino is doing groujd pound; Some Easter Egg alien in Deep-Dish 9 is not here; The part when Peppino punching the screen, it uses background from Octobe2022, when Peppino almost defeated (defeated who? BECAUSE OF SPOILERS!), but it scrolls up unlike Octobe2022; Total money can be seen in Pig City, playing as Gustavo and Brick; All bosses still uses their health displayed in layers rather than regenerating them when transitioning to the next phase, and have 8 health slots; BONUS: On 1:19... it's the pancake TV HUD! Although, it's still unused. If I missed some differences, find it and answer to my comment.
Seeing this game from it’s first iterations, worked up all the way into being such a polished iterations with such uniqueness and characters honestly fills me with joy

The amount of Wario Land inspiration it has makes it so fun and vibrant to look at. It really reminds me a whole lot of Wario Shake it from Wii. I actually look forward to this!

that's the SAGE demo.
The story is that Peppino's restaurant is failing. He learns about the Pizza Tower and how they make amazing pizzas with their ingredients.
Therefore, he raids the towers for their ingredients.

Seeing this trailer when it dropped in December made me realize that this was gonna be game of the year. Kinda crazy to think that it managed to not only not disappoint but even surpass those expectations. This game never ceases to amaze me with how much of a gift it truly is.

I know only came out a year ago, but I can safely say that since I played it for the first time, it became one of my all-time favorite games.
This game has completely and utterly changed my life and I just would not be the same without it, and I mean it. To see this game finally release is just so baffling to me. I’m uber excited to play the full release of this masterpiece. Congrats, McPig!

TV HUD still uses shaders for Peppino clothes;
Blue trail when Peppino is doing groujd pound;
Some Easter Egg alien in Deep-Dish 9 is not here;
The part when Peppino punching the screen, it uses background from Octobe2022, when Peppino almost defeated (defeated who? BECAUSE OF SPOILERS!), but it scrolls up unlike Octobe2022;
Total money can be seen in Pig City, playing as Gustavo and Brick;
All bosses still uses their health displayed in layers rather than regenerating them when transitioning to the next phase, and have 8 health slots;
BONUS:
On 1:19... it's the pancake TV HUD! Although, it's still unused.

Seeing this game from it’s first iterations, worked up all the way into being such a polished iterations with such uniqueness and characters honestly fills me with joy
A good friend of mine showed me this games trailer ages ago when it was still I development and talked about how much we loved old Wario Land games. My friends no longer with us but I know hed be so happy for you to see this game finally finished and coming out soon. I dont feel like it's just chance that this is coming out the day after my birthday. We look forward to playing this ❤

This game got recommended to me through TH-cam cookies and I am so glad that it did. This game looks like complete chaos, and between the crisp and fluid stylized animation and the Wario Land gameplay, I am all-balls in.
Edit: I can't stop watching this trailer. Watching it almost once a day. The animation, the music, the gameplay, I can't wait for this. And knowing nothing about this game yet finding out it's been in development hell, I'm even more ready to play this.

This has been a long time coming. Pizza Tower has such a long and humble development cycle and from the looks of how far the game is now, I think it’s going to be what Steam needed in a long time.
