I tried to tell Roxy to develop a semi-autobiographical movie about herself. She already has a couple all time comedic set pieces - 1 - her virginity waterbed cat story - 2 - the story about her not knowing they were working on the plumbing and she used the bathroom, then the more recent story she told about the guy she dated that was mad and saw her on another date and walked over and farted on her, and then she could ask Steph for permission to use her story - that's 3 bathroom related jokes but maybe over 90 mins it's not too much. Also have the ongoing neighbor story threaded through. The neighbor could be in the movie kinda like the old man in Home Alone (a character that annoys the protagonist) and then find some narrative way that the neighbor somehow saves or helps Roxy out of a bad situation like a Deus ex Machina.
@bigideas3 I remember those.. when it was with Dorina. I want to draw Steph poop story but they took all the funny stories like Prince Hampton, Dungeons & Dragons, Dorina eating Hair made Steph Cry, Steph Poop Story & Roxy Poop Story & dates with Granola & DUI Guy off their channel so I deleted the drawings I done. But if Steph bringing it up I might go at it. Even Roxy stories.
I don't know why Steph wouldn't want anyone to talk about that story again. I mean, she willingly told it on camera and clearly has a sense of humor about it, so I don't get what the big deal is. It's public knowledge. We all have a poop story. I'm floored Roxy doesn't remember hers. It was even better than Steph's lol.
I'm just so glad Taylor Sheridan is a thing, first time I've actively followed a showrunner and watched everything they've made, such good writing and the Yellowstone saga is one of the most extraordinary things on television. Just keep in mind, Sony does more than just movies with the Spiderman license. The game from 2018 sold 50 million copies at $60. Many people bought it at a discounted rate but that’s still at least 2 Billion USD they have made off of just 1 of the 3 games so far

Spider-Man is Sony's biggest IP. They will never sell it. 7 out of Sony's Top 10 highest movies of all time are in the Spider-Man world with No Way Home and Far From Home in the Top 2.
Sony should just be Disney's side chick, and just let Disney do all the work with live action films while they make money. Sony can still do games & animation and that can be there new relationship
In response to Roxy saying it didnt make money, the 3rd Venom for sure made money for Sony. It made 473 million off of a 110-120 million budget. Venom 2 made 500 million so the 3rd was just a little less than the 2nd
I’d say Red One could have a fun mythological world building series on streaming…. I do agree that some of the CG elements could have been taken out and lower the budget. I still had a great time with it and would like to see more
Prediction: We will be getting Spider-Man films from Sony until the Marvel Characters go into the public domain, and at that point they can just return the IP to Marvel as it will no longer have value to hold it.
I always thought they could treat Tom Hollands spiderman like Harry Potter. Especially after the end of no way home. Hes gone through High School, now its the college years and dealing with the isolation he gained after now way home and gaining a new life as individual hero and civilian. Dealing with connecting with people again, which would make Peter Parker social awkward again around those he fears losing.
Business wise, it would actually be stupid for Sony to sell Spider-Man. They just need to make better Spider-Man extended universe films. But we also don’t know the details of their Spider-Man agreement with marvel. They seem to have something stopping them from including Spider-Man in all these villain movies. There’s no way Sony was the only one with demands in the MCU deal. I just find it hard to believe Sony will sell the only thing keeping their film division afloat.
So...this is weird. I feel like I just spent the last two days watching Lord of the Rings with Roxy and now watching this feels like I'm seeing my teacher outside of school for the first time. There's always a catch if Sony sells Spiderman rights to Disney. I'm sure, Sony wants something big in return for this. It's their biggest cash cow regardless, if it lost some money on their other Spiderman characters. If they don't sell they will just reboot the their Spiderman universe and try again.
Wish Roxy watched Blue Bloods on CBS. They just had series finale. Well done show of a family of new york cops. Great Ending for a Friday broadcast tv show.
They have to release Spider films every few years (3?) in order to keep the license, that Marvel wants back. Marvel will say “no”. Either make Spidey films, give it back, or let it lapse. Sony is incented to sell the rights back instead of letting it lapse or go through financial embarrassment at the box office. The films Marvel produces don’t count as a Sony produced film. This situation has Sony in a weak position.
Sony selling Spidey rights and lose out on all the revenues? Hahaha not going to happen. They are just going to wait a bit and start a new attempt at a cinematic franchise.
I do think it's a good idea 💡 for me it would be the right time to give the rights back to Marvel. It would benefit of marvel spiderman story and character that the writer can put those characters such as Miles, morales, kraven, Gwen, Scorpion, Daredevil, and other character that they can put them in For Tobey and andrew story they can also finish their own story of their universe, and it can be a Marvel elseworlds story, in my opinion
Right, but what's the incentive of Sony to do so? Do you understand what they'd be giving up if they "gave in back" and how the entire board and ceo would get fired?
Sony selling Spiderman; I have a bridge to sell you for a buck it's to valuable maybe if Disney pays them like 200 Million or something crazy like that but Sony would never do it
That wouldn’t be enough money to be worth it to Sony. Neither of those two Disney Movies came even close in box office to the last live action Spider-man. So why sell and give that up if they potentially can get 2 billion a film
I don't know if Sony will sell the Spider-Man characters back to Disney or not, but if they keep them and decide to pick up the SSU again, then it would behoove them to get a team who understands the property and are fans of it. What about whoever handles the the Spiderverse movies? Couldn't they run it? Tom Rothman needs to learn some humility and stay the hell out of the way like he couldn't be bothered to do when he ran Fox. He's not good at managing this shit. As for Red One, I'm glad it's doing well on streaming, but the theatrical release was still worth it. Even as a box office disappointment, it at least made some money as opposed to nothing at all if was straight to streaming. And Roxy sort of disappointed me this time. Not only did she not play the audio of her nympho neighbor, but she apparently doesn't remember her own poop story? I can't believe she forgot that. It was hilarious. It was an incident at her Grammy's house a little over a decade ago. As for her TV picks, Sex Lives Of College Girls and Silo are still up there for shows I want to check out. I need to watch more of Nikki Glaser's stuff too. She's not afraid to get raunchy. Plus, she reminds me of Roxy in some ways.
Between Indiana Jones and the Golden Circle and Jedi Fallen Order; my favorite Lucasfilm projects since being acquired by Disney have easily been the video games. Even a game like Outlaws that has its problems is still thoroughly enjoyable from the perspective of a Star Wars fan.
Ill believe it when i see it 😒 every year Sony is selling or marvel is buying back. People want marvel to own everything so bad they come up with this every year 🥱🥱
The thing is, I don’t think people realize how much further back Disney owning Spider-man film rights would set things. They outright bought Fox & still have done next to nothing with F4 (upcoming movie aside; where has the buildup been?) or the X-Men (one rebirthed show & a post credit scene after what 4 or 5yrs of having the properties? and when are we actually getting an X-Men centric film?). Yea they’re already doing the Holland films, but he’s not gunna wanna make 12 Spider-Man movies, so a reboot or torch passing is surely on the way, or else what more are they really gunna do with Spidey? And given how their product has been in recent years, why should we believe it’ll be outstanding?
Just my opinion but Sony will never sell spiderman they make way too much cash off of him and the movies that sucked, were low budget so in no way they sell
If the Mufasa director didnt enjoy live action experience with exec notes than i wont be surprised if its ok enough to see but not the greatest live action film this year.
Kristian, you're 100% on the money and said basically everything I commented about the ludicrous idea of Sony "giving up the rights" to Spider-Man on your last vid. People forget they don't even ever have to revisit Morbius, Kraven, Madame Web or Venom to keep any rights. They could simply do a low budget Daily Bugle, Doc Oc and Hoboblin movie after the heat dies down to keep their contractual obligations for the rights maintenance for pennies over the next 10 years and simply make big coin from their Marvel Studios collaborations and be set. Selling would be dumb to them.
Why do you clickbait your titles like this? Sony isn't selling shit. Even with their shitty movies, the franchise as a whole is massively profitable. They are stopping for a bit and changing direction. They are not going to sell.
Please google the definition of Clickbait. Whether or not you believe a story that is reported or not it’s a different conversation. But here is an example, I had someone just like you say the same thing when we lead with a story that Robert Downey Jr. was going to return as Dr. doom. That person said please don’t lead with Clickbait. That person looks silly. Now I’m not saying that this is gonna come true, but this is a story. We talk about new stories that are going around the movie verse. Click bait would be This is what we found out about the Sony deal and why it’s gonna happen. And then we don’t talk about it at all. So please, understand what this means before you write stuff, but I understand your point of view, but come on think about these things. Hope you have a great night.
of all the live action Sony spiderverse movies, only the Venom ones made any money. If Morbius made any profit, it made like a dollar. Madame Web lost money, Kraven will lose money. Sounds like you're getting your talking points from John Contrarian Campea
@@IndianaJake yes, the Venoms made money. More than the other 3 lost. They also made money on the animated movies. They also get a nice chunk of the Marvel movies for doing very little. And I don't know if the PlayStation rights are tied to the movie rights, but those games make all the movie money look like chump change, so yes they want to keep all the Spider-Man they can under the Sony umbrella.

Are you well?
Nope
Had me crying
Yay ROXY, ❤❤❤❤
❤Roxy!!!
Harloff, your mic is way too low.
Hahahahhahaa
Until one of these drones does something that affects someone’s life no one is gonna care beyond making/enjoying memes about it.
2:10 … Roxy Striar looks like she just came back from the beach. 👩🏼🏖
Sony won't sell no way
1:35:04 These arent the drones you are looking for. 😂
Just my opinion but Sony will never sell spiderman they make way too much cash off of him and the movies that sucked, were low budget so in no way they sell
40:46 😂😂😂
Disney, meaning Bob Iger, literally mandated that Marvel create 8 shows for his streaming service pivot before he was supposed to retire.
If the Mufasa director didnt enjoy live action experience with exec notes than i wont be surprised if its ok enough to see but not the greatest live action film this year.
Red One autoplayed after Thursday Night Football, so im sure that has something to do with it.
Pretty sneaky
What's going on? Roxy looking like snack today
A Flippjng Bluey movie LETS go
Also seeing sonic 3 this Thursday
Can kristian interview roxys dad?
8:18 hahahah
“I didn’t know dragons covet gold” - Neither did I, Roxy. I’m actually quite proud of the fact that I know absolutely nothing about Lord of the Rings.
SELL
SELL
SELL!!!
No no no. They won't.. unlucky princess 😘
@hulkhogan12345 Hello, future-seer, you should play the lottery since you seem to know the future.
@@MindofMike35 we've been hearing "rumors" about sony selling the rights back since i've been alive hahahaha
@IndianaJake Cool story, bro!! 👍🏼
Didn't Kristian get that equipment so he can use Big Balls?😪🤔
You just got served.
of all the live action Sony spiderverse movies, only the Venom ones made any money.
@@Magdalena8008s not really, he is comparing apples to oranges. He loves to go on about the time he was right, but that was him personally hearing from trusted sources. This is him reporting on an article on a site that is not deadline or variety, that is quoting a scooper known to get more than half his shit wrong.
They should’ve stopped making marvel movies awhile ago
???
I don't think Red One "made money" on streaming. Its free, if you're a Prime member, and i doubt a lot of ppl signed up to Prime for that movie.
