Debra Jean Hurd aka Deah Dame had some pipes on her. I heard her solo album, she was an amazing singer she didn't have much of a part on this song to show it. Damian sounded great. You don't hear to many artist sound exactly like their recordings and this is that group.

I had just bought the CD a week prior, and I'm like you're the dude on the CD cover. We used that for ID. We became cool after that. He had a cousin in Detroit with the same name as mind. But yeah, that's my lifetime memory of him.

I don’t think that’s true because they also performed Exclusivity (there’s another video of it on here) and Deah was dancing just fine then. I think she sat down for this one because it’s a slower song and she was only singing backing vocals. Unless it was two separate trips to the Apollo in the same year.
