Seeing Phil in this state breaks my heart, can’t help but think about my grandfather. But seeing him still out there kicking ass from a chair makes me appreciate everything he’s done for music his entire life. One of the greatest examples of an artist.
Would love to see him live..... I listen to his music for hours at a time... listen to a set and replay it... I can keep it going all day. Half the time I can't keep in my seat I have to get up and dance around as well.
His background singers have been with him for ages. It’s wonderful to see the loyalty that has them continue to perform even as they get older and face life’s challenges.
Phil has always supported African American artists even at the tippy top of his career, he has always been a ally to black artists and continues to showcase them even on the last legs of his incredible career.
Yes I love Phil as well. Im 46 he's been with me through my childhood and as I watch so many musicians that I love get older and die its just a reminder that we are getting older and not to take any days for granted. Especially now I was just diagnosed with Covid....today is day 6 n so far I'm symptom less...when I get passed this I will be even more appreciative towards life as so many I know died of it...
He is 70 right . He look 10/15 years older Facts is Phil is not that old but what life he have lived only he know mad the people around him..yeah he had a fall on a bathroom , and it also can make some faster changings to the body in pain etc... if we look at a singer like Tom Jones at 81 he is a lot more fresh moving and looking for his age
In my eyes Phil is still the vibrant young rocker from the 70 and 80s. I'm not too far from Phil's age and it's as if we grew up and grew old together. As I think about Phil's musical life I can't help but to marvel at his amazing music over the years. He has certainly touched my life over and over with his songs. Thank you Phil Collins for always being a part of my life. Your music has always been there for me so I will support you as long as you want to sing. He doesn't need anyone's sympathy. He is touring because he wants to. When you grow up listening to certain musicians you have the grace to appreciate them even in their declining years. We all grow older every second of the day. We don't need Phil to hit every note and walk around on stage. He has sold over 200 million records. If you can do the same and not age please let the rest of us know how that is possible. We love Phil. I went to see him last week in Charlotte. I had a great time. It was worth every dollar.

I've seen just about every Phil Collins / Genesis show over the years that's come to Melbourne, Australia including earlier this year. I hear what your saying, but your paying top dollar, ($316) are we getting what we paid for. I thought no and for half the show the audience didn't think so either. Your right, he's had an amazing career, but at some point you've got to hang up the microphone, retire and live off the royalties.

This show made an impact on me because the limitations we have on a daily basis are health problems and age are not impediments for us to work and make people happy, that is the essence of good music, it transcends in all aspects! Back surgeries take a toll y’all. My dad is 68 and was a strong and mobile man last summer. Since December he’s had three surgeries on his spine due to discs suddenly bulging and rupturing. 11 hours of surgeries. He’s currently confined to a walker. Sometimes life throws a curveball, but the fact that Phil is still out there performing is simply amazing.
My mom has had a bad back for 45 yrs and has had multiple operations on her back and is in constant pain. One time she told me dreads the day that she'll be confined to a wheelchair. She's 71 and is still able to walk and do certain things. A bit different to Phil Collins but she's the strongest woman i know.

I like Phil Collins, a genuinely nice and humble man and it is painful to watch him getting old.
And he is going yo tour with genesis soon.
He's had a few back and neck surgeries that led to foot injuries. Hopefully he can recover soon.

This show made an impact on me because the limitations we have on a daily basis are health problems and age are not impediments for us to work and make people happy, that is the essence of good music, it transcends in all aspects! Back surgeries take a toll y’all. My dad is 68 and was a strong and mobile man last summer. Since December he’s had three surgeries on his spine due to discs suddenly bulging and rupturing. 11 hours of surgeries. He’s currently confined to a walker. Sometimes life throws a curveball, but the fact that Phil is still out there performing is simply amazing.
My mom has had a bad back for 45 yrs and has had multiple operations on her back and is in constant pain. One time she told me dreads the day that she'll be confined to a wheelchair. She's 71 and is still able to walk and do certain things. A bit different to Phil Collins but she's the strongest woman i know.
I've been a fan since the 70's. Classic songs that make me happy that will never fade! Forever Legend!!

These two stuck with Phil through the years and I'm glad they did. The chemistry. The sound. Phil pulled this off even with his age and health problems. It was a great performance . Glad I got to see him in Omaha on this tour and Genesis in Columbus in 2021. Beat the covids on both sides!
