Dominant. He’s now at the Nathen Chen level. Barring any injury he’s the big favorite for Olympic gold in 2 years.
IMO he has surpassed Nathan Chan both artistically and technically.
Not artistically or even overall since Nathan has won 20 or more medals, and future skaters will surpass malinin @@melodied4314

I have found him to be the most interesting skater of the post-Hanyu/Chen era. Malinin may get the highest scores, but I don't cry when he performs, just like I didn't for Nathan. I always did for Yuzuru and sometimes for Jason. Earlier this season, I got the same emotional feeling from Adam at one of the Grand Prix events. I haven't seen the World's yet. I am waiting for a compilation of all SP and FS instead of each performance recorded (without permission, I fear) by individuals at the event. Please ISU. Step up and provide these on TH-cam for those of us who missed the championships in real time. Thank you.
@@gnirolnamlerf593 Adam kinda reminds me of Nathan Chen. His skating style and technique. The way he moves on the ice and his attention to the music. I believe he can be number one on the world stage in the future, possibly be even the next Olympic champion. He just needs to control his nerves.

Artistically, I think Yuma was fantastic. I also feel it was a shame, considering he would have placed 2nd in FS if not for his fall in 3A. I'm looking forward to next season, as I heard he is aiming to incorporate 4Lz and 4Lo. Adam's amazing pursuit was also wonderful. Figure Skating is a sport, and I would like to congratulate Ilia for his win.

I'm so happy for Ilia. While Nathan Chen will always be my favorite, I'm thrilled Ilia went out and did exactly what he needed to do. Not only did he skate two perfect programs, but he posted a world record for the highest LP score (227.79), previously held by Nathan Chen (224.92), and a new world record for the highest technical score (137.18), also previously held by Nathan Chen (129.14). Not only that, but in just this season, Ilia posted THREE of the Top 10 total scores of all time (#10: Skate America 2023 - 310.47, #7: GPF 2023 - 314.66, and #2: 333.76 - Worlds 2024). Together, Nathan and Ilia own 8 of the Top 10 scores of all time. I'm SO glad he went out there and skated BIG and took the victory he deserved, just like Nathan did, in spite of the judges low-ball PCS.

Вообще то она из России! Выступать за Узбекистан начала скорее всего из-за российского непреодолимого и коррупционного попадания в состав сборной России. Вот так Россия отказывалась от своих талантливых спортсменов! Чемпионкой она стала гораздо раньше каких то там забытых уже всеми Бутырских и Слуцких. Так что вот так.

Just my opinion, but I think it's just something to give the black suit costume something shiny when we see his back. That sounds silly, but his suit did look more interesting with the X when he did his spins.

Better presentation? Who? Ilia? I think he has artistry and he has a good sense of the music. There is something grand and tranquil about his quads. His ice skating seems effortless. But it's all hard work. But what I would love to see is a relationship with the music, for example, ice dancing. Ice dancers have an immediate relationship with the music and that's what I would love to see from Ilia.
