Premier Guitar, this interviewer, deserves some kind of raise or recognition or something. He's literally one of the most casual, friendly and passionate interviewers I've ever seen. Always good watching him interview my favourite guitarists.

Yeah alot of times we think of a rhythm player as only being good at rhythm work or bassist as only capable of bass, but I've seen many guys who seem to be just as incredible at another style of playing or another instrument as their primary one.

    • @janicespeer106

The lore of Alter Bridge includes the story that they didn’t know that Myles played guitar at all. Early on, Mark walked by the guest room where Myles was staying and heard an incredible guitar sound. When he asked what Myles was listening to, Myles responded that he was playing. And that was that. They brought him on for his voice with no idea of his technical guitar talent.

I used to work for PRS. Remember seeing them making the prototype "explorer". I actually took a picture of the raw body. It is a three piece body. They used a left hand guitar, flipped it, and then extended the wood to make it look like an explorer.

PRS legacy is paved with its love for their artists. The first production single cuts from them came from giving a young guitarist in a big new band a signature. They take features their artists want on their customs and they put them on their production guitars. I love this company.

I own a Mesa Triple rectifier and every one know that amp is the cream of all metal amps! But after ten plus years of gigging with it it was time to find something less weighty. Fast forward to 2019 the new PRS MT15 signature amp is the best lunch box amp in the market and the only one with 6l6 tubes!!! It crushes like nothing I ever hear in such a small package!

I just got the prs mt lunchbox, just now trying it out. How would you compare it to the rectifier?

Juan Valdez hey man! It’s a different amp, the distortion is monstrous but you need a noise gate possibly to hush the feedback. It’s loud as 25 watts and some say 50 watts. The tone is different but it’s smooth not too harsh!

My favorite rig rundown to date! I've seen a couple of other rig rundowns with AB and they were pretty much just facts, while this one has a more personal touch to it. Great interviewer!

5:25 why can no guitarist say “Drop C#” or “Drop Db” instead of “Drop D tuned down half a step” or something? They still say Drop C/B instead of “Drop D tuned down a whole step/one and a half steps.” Never understood that.

6:25 I can just imagine Paul saying "nice lines" in his recognizable cringy/ironic tone. I would laugh so hard, my stomach would hurt probably.
