- In this video I will discuss about optical conductivity and its calculation from UV-Visible absorption data.
Optical conductivity is very important property to measure electronic states of a material.
It is closely related with dielectric function.
It depends upon
1. Optical bandgap
2. Refractive index
3. Absorption coefficient
4. Incident photon frequency
5. Extinction coefficient

really amazing good job
Totally impressed by your method
Thanks for your comment
Totally impressed by your method ...🥰🥰
Thanks for your comment.
why did you use $ in both sides of a specific column, like; $F$11?
if the material thickness is 50um or 100nm apart from 1cm, then how will I write it the formula section?
Thank you for the demo. Which research article has to be cited for this?
Any comment on how to corelate optical and electrical conductivity?

good explanation and easy method also
Thanks for liking
helo sir i am confused in units of optical conductivity, these come out to be per second? What does mean by this?
Thanks for this demo.
Can I know how you got the relationship between the refractive indiex and the transmittance?
How did you arrive at the equation of the refractive index? Any reference?
Send a request for reference at.

easy method good explain for children's
Thanks boy.
Amazing video❤ sir plz provide reference or any other research paper related to it .i need it
Thanks for video. For thickness of thick film what is criteria.
Units have been given in video.
And for thick film one can use caliper or something like that.
Method is simple and great.
I will be obliged if you kindly provide the journal paper or any documents corresponding to the refractive index formula from percentage transmittence for polymer thin films.
I need the reference corresponding to this formula.
Thanking you
Plz provide your email address
thank you.
sir how to calculate dielectric relaxation time from UV data
Dear sir, I have calculated refractive index for BN powder from absorption data...But it shows 0.13-0.15.but actually its 1.57-2.67 from journals. How could i interrelate for this
its difficult from UV due to some technical issues, you can calculate it from transmission spectra
i am interested in your excell sheet.
Good work
Thanks
Thank you for this helpful video.
Can you please provide me the reference of this formula?
Kindly provide some references above this method, also with refractive index references, band gap,
Email ID plz.
Kindly email me also
Request via email.
