From it's decay & state of misery to it's incredible history & ghostly tales. This mini documentary will bring you a glimpse within the walls of Nannau whilst also providing information on where to learn even more about the manor & it's rich history
This project was taken on to bring more eyes & attention to this historic (Grade II*) listed Welsh house that is in need of drastic repairs & to show those who could do something that this is now the time
But it really is one hell of a place

Keith Evans is brilliant...
Very kind, I'll be sure to pass that on, Although I'm sure Keith will see this himself. Thanks John

What a compliment, the place deserved it
Absolutely brilliant well done I loved it
I also have fond memories of this place! so so sad 😪 good job on the mini documentary 👌
Thanks a lot Elwyn, would have been nice to see it back in the day. Keep up the great work yourself
That was so well done. I wish it was 3 hours. Such a shame to see the manor in that state.
Absolutely agree, it's just awful, I didn't mention it but you can smell the damp. It's just so bad. Hope is all we can have
The atmosphere of the house & surrounding area was captured beautifully. I really hope Nannau will be saved & brought back to live.
The house is a character of it's own, all I did was point & shoot. Hope is all we have isn't it so crossed fingers
@@JustMartyn it was a shame I was unable at the time to come with Mark & Steve. Maybe one day,I'll get to see it.
@@dianec4244 I don't think the house will be going anywhere anytime soon, you'll get to see it I'm sure
Wow, I'm so happy for the narrator that he was able to use the house as a backdrop for showing himself sitting in a dark room decrying the deteriorated condition of the house.
Wow what a truly wonderful documentary . The way it was narrated was exceptional and you could feel the love this man has for this place coming through. Thanks Ouija brothers for directing me to this.
Perfectly created and memorable to watch!!!!!!!!
Oooft, now that's a compliment!
Ouija Brothers posted about your documentary so I came to watch. Beautifully told and poignant. I have watched T.O.B. and Mr Dead Cold investigate and fell totally in love with the place. What a stunning house to be veiled in such sadness. Thank you for answering so many questions, for the history and for gathering all the ghost stories.
Nice one Ceri, well said 👏
Perfectly said Ceri, really appreciate those words. Couldn't not add the ghost's could we, It's Nannau Hall after all
Wow! Absolutely captivating to listen to you telling the history of this beautiful place like the stories are your own personal memories ❤️! Genuine talent...I could listen for hours!
The last thing we need is a big headed Keith Evans, I'm sure he appreciates that though. Big thanks
Well done to all involved, lovely views of the surrounding area of Dolgellau , my home town .
Rob Whittey did a great job getting shots of the area. a lot to pick from & some didn't even make the cut
You did a brilliant job, Keith is my brother and did us proud with his narration of the documentary.
@@brianevans2123 His passion for the house came through, all I had to do was structure it. Appreciate the kind words Brian
Wow that was an incredible mini documentary 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤ the storytelling, drone footage was brilliant!! Ouija Brothers sent me over.

@@tinaprentice2136 Who knows Tina, something might be coming up pretty soon
Martyn....Quite honestly, that was superb and yes it did choke me, I had to watch it twice and I'll watch it a 3rd and 4th time I'm sure! I love Nannau and I miss it when I leave it, there's only a few locations I've visited do this to me. Its a beautiful but sad story and I truely hope your fantastic mini documentary helps to get it noticed so it can be saved like it so deserves. Thank you for making this and thank you to everyone involved! Keith was brilliant 👏
I thought it might with you, a few have said that now. That rose probably did it. Wonder where it is now, who knows! I'll pass the message on to Keith, Knowing him he will see
this anyway. Can always count on you to show this place some love
Top man Mark
Thank you
Superb documentary. what a stunning place. Wish someone would save it.
Thanks Tracey, yeah that's the hope. All we can have really
Lived in many haunted places, just like the house I have now. We are buying another house soon and that is haunted too. Can't imagine living in a house without spirits. With the spirits you are never alone.
Fantastic, even watched it twice 👏
I'm happy it was worth a second watch, big thanks
Being Welsh myself I stumbled upon this mini documentary while watching the ouija brothers absolutely incredible storytelling and video footage but like I said being Welsh I have never heard of this place, it's now on my bucket list of places to visit 👍
Wonderful to hear Adrian, it's absolutely worth a visit
Ditto!
sent by the lovely riann and james staffordshire paranormal so happy they did uk
Appreciate it Kaya! Big thanks
Beautiful and creative video. Well narrated and interesting. Gorgeous property. Thanks so much Martyn for sharing this
Really kind of you Sarah, thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed it
Interesting documentary. Plas Nannau is actually Grade II* which is far more important than just Grade II. I think about 92% of listed buildings are Grade II and the other 8% are Grade II* and Grade I.
Thanks Ian, Yeah my fault I didn't have the * in mind. I'll correct it in the description anyway. Thanks for pointing out
Poetry in motion
If at least the roof was made watertight it would slow down the decay. Water does so much damage over time. The Gate House is lovely. My nan lived in an estate gate house, all stone and big. As a child it was amazing. I only saw it a couple of times.
That's all I care about myself. sort the roof, preserve it. Give the house a chance. It's not much to ask is it Anne
yes all this rain we are having at the minute wont be doing it much goood
Wonderful Documentary. Really enjoyed watching this. Thanks from a Tasmanian Fan. Came over from The Ouija Brothers, subscribed. ❤🙏👍🤗
Glad you enjoyed it, the OB have some wonderful support
I was sent over by Mark, at Dead Cold. I'm so glad. This was suspenseful, engrossing and atmospheric. Great cinematography - love the drone shots! - and the narration was brilliant. I want to learn more. Thank you for introducing me to the house. It's incredible!
I've just watched this masterpiece after a recommendation from Dead Cold.
You've captured this beautiful building with perfection - I felt like I was there. I sincerely hope Nannau has the future it deserves. Thank you!
Impressive content and production values. Fascinating.
Thanks for the kind words!
Great video. Enjoyed watching it.
@@JeremyNanney-fn1zd appreciate it Jeremy!
Hi. I've come over from Ouija Brothers. As a fellow Cymro, I absolutely loved this mini documentary!! It was so interesting! It's very sad to see this beautiful old buildings going to rack and ruin. It really annoys me when you see a house like this, that has so much history, just abandoned! The "stories" of the ghosts were so intriguing! Thank you for this. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it! Will definitely be subscribing!! Diolch yn fawr! Pob hwyl. 👍🏻💜
Fellow Cymro, always good to see. It's like people just don't care about them anymore, I've done all I can for the house now. No need to thank me, was something that had to be done. Thanks for supporting
Amazing work. Fantastic film making and story. I am a Vaughan and have lineage to Dolgellu and Nannau.
Thank you for the support. That's awesome to hear!
my Grandmother was Welsh and when looking up our ancestry when her Grandmother died her funeral was attended by Sir Robert Wiliames Vaughan 3rd Bart of Nannau who turns was said to be a relative. this House we never heard of before is part of my Family's history. it's so sad to see what's become of it.
Thank you for watching, it is sad but don't let it get in thr way if what it once was. Might just become it again some day
Well done!! This is a beautiful place. Too bad someone hasn't restored it or at least gotten the beautiful pieces out of it to be reused. Your camera work is exceptional. Thank you for putting this together. Makes me want to visit it one day.
Just watched and subbed after recommendation by Dead Cold. Enjoyed watching this and found it very interesting thanks 🥰🙏x
As a descendant of Nannau, what can we do to help prevent the decay of this beautiful and historic house?
such an imposing house in a lovely location sad
Well said Jane
What a waste, a beautiful place condemned by the planners. We used to take our kids there when they were little. Still go past and wonder why this place so rich in Welsh Heritage has been left to rot. Yet Zip world is given grants. Owain would be turning in his grave. SAVE IT, This needs to go to Drayford, he may be able to do something worth while instead of his 20mph.
Wow, what a dreadful shame. I do hope it gets the love (and money) it needs.
Keep an eye out. You never know Claire
I wish i could find out who owns it now. i would like to buy it and get it back up to where my family had it in the past.
What an incredible shame.
Thanks for watching. It is a big big shame
awful to see the holes in the roof
Shocking state
