Very opposite in decor from a Quaker/Friends meeting home. This org is also responsible for some of the oldest ideals in the start of our American government. Thank you for this inside look at each room. The one donned in light blue and light gold looks to represent a Delaware chapter?
Yes, compare to Quaker Friends Meeting houses, which are usually were very simple and basically reflected simple houses of worship, this place is a palace. Each room made in its own design: Egyptian, Gothic, Hellenic, Moorish and etc. So the blue one goes for Hellenic. The reason why Masons went after those styles is because they represent great civilizations.

I was looking at similar things in the Hearst castle,and it’s amazing the craftsmanship and I wonder how they paid for all the work.
