Today, honesty, integrity and morality are all considered naive concepts. They consider that everyone is like they are. Your honest desire to share your love of the sport is one of the reasons that I enjoy VHTV. I have personally benefited from your channel and learned from you how to shot a springer. I can now consistently hit a 4 cm target at 50 meters. Thank you for being an advocate to help your fellow shooters with their Brocock and Bantam issues. That's integrity folks...

part of the trick that fools forget isnt just si's steady hands and good eye + experience but also the hard work zeroing and range testing. combined with good range recognition and skills = great shooting. ... a hell of a lot better than me

Another great video Si, as usual, and some good comments on the compatto and the Brocock company. You only have to see how well your rifle performs to see how great the rifle is. I can vouch for the other Brococks such as the Contour, Concept and Enigma, as not only me, but a lot of my friends use them and they are all very accurate and well made rifles. My concept shoots just as well as my Air Arms S200. You can always get a problem with any gun, no matter how much you pay for it, but as long as the customer service is good, you shouldn't have a problem. Both Daystate and Brocock have always been a great team to meet and talk to from my experience, and your chat with the Italian director speaks for itself. Keep up the good work.

great shooting and very handy tips. it's great to see the hold over and windage that your using on long range shots. I also have a compatto which I saved hard for and bought last Christmas. mine has been every bit as accurate as my hw100 and just as reliable. I am a very happy compatto owner.

I regularly post on the facebook group about my .177 Compatto and how much I love it due to the fantastic results it always produces. Bought as a direct result of your review it has almost daily use and has worked faultlessly since last April when my lovely partner bought it for me as a birthday present I'm talking about 4000+ pellets. I feel the same disappointment as I could tell people till the cows come home how great mine is seems such a shame that others are having a negative experience. I dont think Si or Davy have anything to prove integrity wise and in my opinion are 2 of the pillars in the airgunning world.

  • @PBazBarrett

Yes credit where credits due, I purchased a .177 Compatto after watching VerminHuntersTV review. Its a cracking rifle, super accurate (B magnum 4.52), and lovely to shoot. Overall, I simply cannot put it down!. I would happily back up anything 100% Si and Davy say on the Compatto.

I just ordered the Bantam in 177 ( US POWER ) and looking forward to ringing out. Going to initially try 5 pellets.... H&N Hunter, extreme and sniper magnum, predator polymag , JSB beast.
Anyway..... great video as usual. I enjoy seeing what my across the pond cousins are up to. Cheers

Love the channel and appreciate the tips being explained. We can all learn from each other regardless of how much we think we know. I've been shooting all my life and an old keeper once told me that even at seventy five he was still learning. It's the little bits of fine tuning that will improve your results and at times means not going home empty handed. Of course there are days when things don't workout, but try and learn and from them. Si, can you do a review of the Mamba pro, looks very interesting. Thanks.

cheers Si. I've just seen the new updated compatto with the same appearance but a shroud with a silencer roping the end plus an atlas style bipod some fancy sling swivels but it had the soft touch black coating.... it runs about 150 extra for the updated model....nit sure it's worth it but I'll be checking one against the other in the next couple if weeks when I should be buying my own....probably in .22 as I've already got a rather nice tuned r10 mk2 with xxx regulator in .177 and it's a tax driver to borrow your phrase.... thanks for such a swift response buddy

Great episode and as usual great shooting. I once wrote in of the shooting forums that I usually manage to consistently hit a hanging golf ball at 84 yards with my HW KT 100 and commented that a competent shot can and should be able to kill vermin at longer than 35 ~45 yards distance that is accepted norm for sub 12 ft.lbs rifles. The amount of cynicism and border line abuse that I got was eye opening. Never again. I let the distance issue rest at 45 yards. I can not understand the mentality of people who always seem to doubt other people's abilities with a sub 12 air rifle and call them fakes and cheats. Let them remain in their little world. Personally I like the way that you enthuse about a product that you like and see nothing wrong about it, otherwise what is the point of reviewing shooting gear?

it is a crying shame that people would rather question ones integrity than to just accept that some of us people actually were raised that way with morals just because i cant shoot 1/2" groups at 50 yds doesnt mean you or someone else cant i have been watching your videos for quiet sometime and have not seen any reason to question your or davys capabilitys some people dont understand every rifle is different and they all like something different and some will be duds thats just the way it is if more people had your and davys integrity and morals it would help this world be a better place for everyone !!!!!!

I am a new subscriber (3 months) and I am really enjoying watching you and Dave, I am learning loads about modern air rifle shooting as a former TAVR volunteer I shot mostly .22 or7.62 & 5.56 so I understand a lot of the principles.
