      Well it's mostly motorway. I'd say you'll not find it difficult as London is always full of traffic so follow others.

    Hi, did you have to present any covid-related documentation when going back to England? Since the UK doesn't require anything

    • @Exploring_beautiful_world
      @Exploring_beautiful_world  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No they really don't want any such proof. You can always check at www.gov.uk and right now it's not needed.

      @TPW Explorations to enter France you need proof of vaccination or negative test. According to them if 2nd dose is older than 9 months you are not vaccinated. You need booster if you want to be considered as vaccinated after 9 months.

      @TPW Explorations well if you have a british passport and it's not too crowded you can expect anything i have crossed channel multiple times in last 3 months they really didn't check it but one of my family members was sent back with british passport i have EU passport. French and Brits have a special relationship after brexit.

      Well it's written that it should not be from NHS but antigen tests are accepted as well and if you're vaccinated than you don't need any test. I am pasting the link of French embassy's website about all informations.

      You should not use the NHS testing service to get a test in order to facilitate your travel to an-other country. You should arrange to take a private test from a private coronavirus testing provider. Test results must be certified by an approved private test provider to be accepted

    I ve heard there is no more need for locator forms or sworn declaration on the ferries to France, is it true. Informations on the internet are confusing

    • @Exploring_beautiful_world
      @Exploring_beautiful_world  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are vaccinated you don't need anything else. The 2nd vaccine must not be older than 9 months. If you are not vaccinated, that's also the case without 3rd dose than you must have a negative test result and they may ask you to fill forms. So don't worry if you are vaccinated all you need is only the proof of vaccination.

      @@titidiz6343 as we were talking about my last experience let me inform you about my recent trip to London i returned yesterday it was a mess caused by French and UK border agency on first day of holidays as only two checkpoints were open. The French checked just passports and no question about vaccine status. The brits didn't bother to check who is going out makes sense. Well maybe they check British citizens strictly because of their relationship after brexit. I am from Germany and also speak little French so may be it was the reason. I booked for 8 am and boarded at 12 pm to dunkerque. The worst experience ever. Let's hope a bridge can be built there and outer borders get functional and within Europe works like Schengen area. Afsluitdijk in Netherlands is an example how to built roads in the Sea. So that we don't have to wait for the next sailing if one is missed.

      Thanks for your appreciation. Well it's Monday i guess that it won't be the same as on 29.05.2022 as it was Sunday and start of holidays in the UK. An unexpected cause is always possible but at this time on Monday i would recommend to listen news or check on google maps by switching on traffic on Sunday if it's start of Summer holidays you'll know it on Sunday afternoon that it's que on the highway. I guess it is but in my case it was on Sunday morning and many wanted to go there on Sunday as Monday was 1st day of school holidays in UK. But many families don't travel too early in the morning. It is an advantage for you.

      @@28nikolana you are welcome what i can say is it's not a problem if there is que you don't have to pay more if there is que i was sometimes late and dfds didn't ask me to pay more or pay again. They know it when it's packed on motorway. But to be honest i don't expect any que at 4 am in the morning on Monday. If you have an important u guess you are coming for holiday and not for any appointment. In case i have an appointment i will always try to come a day before so that i don't miss my appointment otherwise i should bring just more patience with me for such a scenario. An accident on motorway is the only reason to cause delays at 4 am in the morning on Monday and no one can predict them. Wish you a stressfree travel without any delay.

    • @Exploring_beautiful_world
      @Exploring_beautiful_world  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will just plan for hours for travel unless i have an appointment in Europe. If everything is fine and you arrive there just before 40 minutes you still have to wait 20 minutes for the boarding. I also travelled on 29.05.2022 to Dunkerque and booked for 8 am i was at Dover port at 0700 am but french opened only 2 counters and i had to wait there for 4 hours as it was begin of school holidays in UK from Monday and many booked and came on Sunday but french boarder control was too slow with 2 counters for 8 full lines at port. I also uploaded the video of that day. I boarded at 1200 am instead of 0800 am. So it's rare but it happened too.

      It depends where are you coming from or going. As there are 2 ports in France Calais and Dunkirk. Dover to Calais Ferry takes 90 minutes and Dover to Dunkirk takes 2 hours. But it is same for someone going to Belgium or Netherlands as Dunkirk is nearest Port from Belgium.

    Do you know any information about going through france without staying?

    • @Exploring_beautiful_world
      @Exploring_beautiful_world  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well whether you stay or not it's same as you enter France regardless of tunnel or ferry. So the same rules apply well if you are not vaccinated an antigen test ist still okay i just confirmed again on both gov.uk and on french government's website they haven't changed yet. The website of french government is in description. To be honest they didn't check any dates of my vaccination properly but if you have a British passport they may check properly you know the reasons why. I had my other family members who are brits and they were sent back as their 2nd vaccine was older than 9 months. So in that case to be considered as vaccinated 3rd dose is required or a test is alternative.

      When going to UK you don't need anything at all but to enter France you must have a proof of vaccination or negative covid test. Where are you going? why? and how long is your stay? these are the questions and have a nice holiday was the sentence at the end. They do open the car boot as well.
