Ikr I just started watching Bojack Horseman and couldn't for the life of me remember where I had heard that deep voice before. Today it all of a sudden came to me
I defrauded a major corporation-I robbed the second largest bank in France using only a ballpoint pen-I created a hole in the ozone over Avignon-I killed a man...wiyh this thumb.
i work in a gourmet restaurant and when i saw this i could practically match up every chef and character in the kitchen to someone who works in the restaurant i work in! i'm so glad the producers understood that some of the most extreme characters you will find in this world are in the food industry. Horst is JUST like my old kitchen manager... who used to be in the israeli army so he would say stuff like that! "i killed a man with THIS THUMB!" hahaha!
I also know a guy, I lived in a flat with him for a view years, who is a cook and - yes, very eccentric :D very intelligent too. Now I live in a flat above a restaurant and I always meet and chat with the people of the restaurant/kitchen. Very cool people. :)
She blew me away, too. I'm pretty high on this movie at the moment, and not only loving every aspect of it but also loving Colette and Linguini's pairing. Unlikely, adorable couple.
Probably the nostalgia, it's hard to realize that this movie came out over 12 years ago now. Also the movie has a very very powerful message. As an adult, you notice it, when you were a child it was a fun movie, but Pixar nailed this film for audiences of all ages.
Ratatouille is one of those movies you enjoy a lot better than you expected. I watched it when I was 8 and I thought it would be OK, I grew up loving it.
The first time I saw it in Culinary class in high school, I didn’t pay much attention to it, I actually forgot about it until I saw Remy in Dreamlight Valley with his little restaurant, now, I love it, and especially, Remy❤️
I had to go home after I saw this and look up the cast list on IMDb because I didn't recognize anyone's voice except Patton's, really. Speaking of Patton, I LOVE him. He's so funny, and a really good pick for the voice of Remy, like they say here.
My favorite movie. Pushed "Pulp Fiction" off its throne. And even "The Dark Knight" could not take it from the spot. And if it stays there until I die, I will be perfectly happy with it.
I've been in the restaurant bizz for over 20 years, went to chef training school, started in dish pit worked my way to kitchen management.I can relate to most of this movie especially Linguini's first few days starting a new job,(it can be overwhelming)(can't wait to quit!!) Anyway my favourite parts of this flick-employees must wash hands, then we see all the rats in the dishwasher, also Remy controlling Linguini by pulling on his hair.
I’m impressed with all of their spot on accents, but when I found out Will Arnett played Horst, I immediately had the realization that he was an extremely talented and professional actor because I did not recognize it was him at all.
So many of the voices I thought were really unique and just kinda out there, but once I found out who some of them were voiced by, like Brad Garret and Patton Oswalt, it makes so much sense. I can't unsee the characters with their actors.
When I’ve watched a cartoon often enough I start to think a lot about the voices and performing the character in a room, alone. I think about the noises characters make when they’re hit, or fall, or kiss and THAT’s when I think voice acting would get weird.
I recognized Brad Garrett’s voice as Gusteau, I watch Everybody Loves Raymond sometimes, and that’s the only reason how I know him, I feel like I always knew Patton from somewhere, when I looked him up, I just got that feeling like I saw him in something before, I think he showed up regularly in Seinfeld or something.
@@JoJo-xp6wr “This little rat is guilty!” “You’re letting him go again? He’s guilty! You can see on his smug little face! Guilty, guilty guilty dog!” Yep, that one. 🤣
Remy's voicw actor is a voice actor in my favorite video game XD the game is called minecraft storymode and im not saying who it is im just saying that its the main character he he he he he he he
I don't get it, why isn't Lou Romano in any of the interviews. Ok, I know he's an illustrator and he's not that famous in movies but he's the secondary character in the movie and he's still overlooked!
That was Brad Garrett!?!? I mean, yeah, now it sounds just like him, but I would have never have guessed while watching the flick. No dead weight in this picture, everyone brought their A+ game.
Did you look at the other podcasts that RatatouilleMovie has to offer? Look at podcast #10, Pixar's Hidden Talent, and you'll see an interview with Lou Romano.
"I killed a man, with this thumb!"
Pixar, please hire Will Arnett more often.
There’s Bojack Horseman. Why am I responding to a 12 year old comment?
Schmibble Schmab idk man
Ikr I just started watching Bojack Horseman and couldn't for the life of me remember where I had heard that deep voice before. Today it all of a sudden came to me
Oh god I wrote this comment a long time ago.
Love watching Bojack horseman Finale super sucked had to many plotholes that wasn't answered thoo but loved it all the same
Janeane Garofalo really killed this role. She is such a strong presence in the film, this movie wouldn't be complete without her as Colette.
I honestly did not recognize Will Arnett as Horst.
When Horst said: "I defrauded a major Corporation" he sounded a little different when he said that in the film.
Robogabriel neither did I, to be honest with you. he is my favorite actor.
same
Gabriel Schleifer GOB is a German chef in Ratatouille?
I defrauded a major corporation-I robbed the second largest bank in France using only a ballpoint pen-I created a hole in the ozone over Avignon-I killed a man...wiyh this thumb.
one of the BEST & most UNDERRATED MOVIES of Disney Pixar
One of the worst and overrated movies is Inside Out....
Leo the German Sheperd I’ll say
I wouldn’t say underrated, given the fact that it won an Oscar, and it is my favorite Pixar movie
Stinky Pete overrated your ass
It's not as underrated as you think

Everyone: this movie was so fun to make
Will Arnett: I saved Pixar…your welcome Pixar
She blew me away, too. I'm pretty high on this movie at the moment, and not only loving every aspect of it but also loving Colette and Linguini's pairing. Unlikely, adorable couple.
For some reason I don't know what it is but this movie makes wanna cry.
Me too

The scene where “Ego” reminisces about his mother and then drops his pen always gets me.
The Ego review and the scene of Remy seeing Paris for the first time make me cry
Brad: "I would've liked a bigger part"
his part: *the embodiment of our main character's thoughts*
I love Horst when he said" I robbed the second largest bank in France with just a Ballpen".
They should have included Peter O' Toole as Anton Ego in this video.
If you want to find Anton Ego put in "Ratatouille scene stiller".
He is not a comedian tho.
@@rudyhouse4670 thank you
2:22 Bred Garrett is so funny i'm laughing my head off right now XD LOL
“I said toothpick a chicken?!” -Bred Garrett
This is the master piece in animation movies out there up to 2019. And it could last further.
It will always remain as one of the best animated films of all time
Anton's review at the end makes me cry every time. It genius writing and makes me think of my own life and what I need to do. Incredible.
When will arnett said he saved pixar thats something gob would say on arrested Development
I love Horst when he said" I robbed the second bank in France with just a Ballpoint Pen
Gosh, those people are really talented. You often can never tell a person by just hearing their characters.
Will Arnett to play Horst, amazing!
Anton Ego is the man. hahah "hit me with your best shot"
I just could not picture Janeane Garofalo voicing Colette until I saw this video. Really well done on her part.

Did they just call stereotypical French women, tsunderes?
I had to go home after I saw this and look up the cast list on IMDb because I didn't recognize anyone's voice except Patton's, really. Speaking of Patton, I LOVE him. He's so funny, and a really good pick for the voice of Remy, like they say here.
JANEANE GAROFALO (LIBRA) (THE SCALE) YOU WERE ALWAYS A GREAT ACTRESS EVEN LONG BEFORE YOU DID RATATOUILLE
3:27 -- "It looks real" Literally the chef Gusteau has a body of a turnip
0:49 Patty Oswald: you hell!?!!! (Angrily ridiculously)
I think he was calling his brother; "O'Neal"
Janeane Garofalo fine as hell
wheres linguini?
To answer your question put in "Ratatouille Hidden Talent" and that video will find Linguini for you.
"I killed a man...with THIS THUMB." LOVE IT!

I was so happy that they included the thumb gag with Horst.
Ratatouille and Wall-E are the only movies that made my childhood felt complete.
Brad Garett does a nice Andre the Giant impression when doing Gusteau.
Really?
As a brooklyn nine-nine and a Pixar fan it’s cool to find out that Boone plays Remy❤😂
I’m impressed with all of their spot on accents, but when I found out Will Arnett played Horst, I immediately had the realization that he was an extremely talented and professional actor because I did not recognize it was him at all.
I can't believe they didn't include SKinner's voice, he's the best!!!
Hands down... One of the best movies of all time... I never knew it had so many familiar faces
watched this yesterday, it brought back so much memories ☹️
They should have interviewed Lou
Romano who plays Linguini.
By far the best Pixar film.
Brad Bird at his best. (That is before he did The Incredibles 2)
Incredibles 2 was hella rushed so I can't blame him
Are you kidding incredibles 2 is trash
Ratatouille is brad bird at his best

It's amazing how much work goes into making an animated movie!!! I can't wait to see the film!!!
if Pixar made a movie with Will Arnett playing a main character, I'd be the happiest person ever
would of loved to of seen john ratzenberger as mustafa
Linguine's voice actor is so underrated.
And Skinner's!
Linguini was voiced by that same Pixar member who did the teacher in the Incredibles. Lou Romano.

i love this movie so uch i can watch this movie like a 100000 times

I had no idea Brad Garett was Gusteau lol
"Patton was it fun to work with Brad bird?!"

It is a a lot of comedians in voice actors in here and its funny. But did very great job for this movie. And i still watch this movie in 2023. :) 👍
3:15 wow he threw cars under the bus!
Brad bird and Matthew Lillard could imitate each other
bruh this was made before i was even born
"TOOTH PICKIN' CHICKEN!!" xD
One of my favorite animated movies. For years I thought that Remy was Michael J Fox.
Anyone here after listening to the Smartless episode with Ewan McGregor?
3:18, omg that sexy will arnett smile. YAAAAASSSS!!
This is my favorite movie😩
I wish they made ratatouille 2
Does anyone else feels like disney animated movie voice actors nowadays kind of sound like they are not as enthusiastic as the old days?
The voice actor who plays Larousse I couldn’t believe it was Ajax from the warriors James remar
Remy: "The Eiffel tower was made of dildos" 🤣🤣
Remember that line 😂

Hey, they got the horse from Horsin' Around

the only good thing a sequel could ever bring is the name "rata-two-ille"
I never knew the voice actor for Dim, Bloat, and Gusteau was the same guy who played Robert Barone and the coach from the Pacifier
Man I miss this film
I love this film, My dream would be to voice a character in an animated movie
Maybe it’s because Lou Romano is one of the animators at Pixar
That was Brad Garrett!?!? I mean, yeah, now it sounds just like him, but I would have never have guessed while watching the flick. No dead weight in this picture, everyone brought their A+ game.
why didn’t they make another one sigh
