To be fair, with his donut-spike it is actually more donuts than most desks. Just get like a pipe, stick it through the hole, attach it to the bottom in some way, (So the top is flush and smooth) then just slip donuts down the pipe. Possibly cap the pipe if you want to.
@@PHANTOMCOWGIRL The way I'd do it, A screw, something for the screw to go through to hold it to the bottom, and a wooden stick to go up to slide doughnuts onto. xD
I might not be picturing it quite right, but I'm not sure a screw would work. Unless you mean like a small plank on the bottom, screw that as a cover, then put a stick in the hole, then that would work.
In my scenario I was thinking like a small L bracket, but install it 'backwards' so one end goes inside the pipe and the other is screwed/bolted onto the bottom.

It was agonising, you could see his subconscious reaction to holding it as it gradually inched towards his mouth.
Of course he did. What made you think he wouldn't?
That was a new donut, they must have replaced it, could tell the way he bit in to it, if it was the old one it would have been hard and looked awful.

Ryan moving all the files was a way better shenanigans then the desk. Ryan should have put up a picture of Matt's desktop for background after he put the files away to see Matt's fustration when he can't click on anything or find any of his file.
He should have changed the title and image for each file.

The way I did it once on a school computer was that I took a screenshot of the desktop, flipped the image upside down and put as background. Then I put the things on the desktop in a folder and put it on the task bar. Then I hid the task bar. Then I flipped the screen upside down with the command to do so.
In the end the computer had a bunch of icons that couldn't be clicked, a task bar that didn't react to anything and a mouse pointer that was inversed and upside down.
Man I hated that school.

Turn the PC 90 degrees and slide it against the wall and you can get the monitor out of the way

I like the idea of the curved cutout for the door on a normal desk better.
It would have been more funny if they used one of those cheap IKEA table tops like everyone else has at the ah office. And just leave the cut off part rough and unpainted
They legally couldn't do it for the same reason they couldn't block the door from opening. If there is a fire NOTHING is supposed to be there to not only let the door open, but also so people can get out. A cut out allows for the former and not the latter, unless Texas fire codes are complete crap.

@@JRDeBo I feel like a cutout would have been fine if they did it at a decent angle and that the door can come into full contact with the wall.(I'm imagining more like a slanted/shallow curve than a deep semi-circle curve because the door would almost already be at it's maximum curve/width space when it gets to the desk vs like a revolving door shape. If that makes sense?)
Like if the door can fully swing open then people can still get out/nothing would be in front of the door no? Because Matt's desk/equipment/seating area is still in the same space that the desk would have been. That and they can still access the door from the entire left side/area.
If I'm imagining it correctly it'd be basically the same open space/area as like a entryway or a door at the end of a small apartment hallway.
Edit: If the door swung open the other way that'd be a compleeeeeetely different story and most deff a safety hazard.
Also, I'm most definitely imagining a desk slightly less wide because the high desk/shelf throws off my perception lmao

Rewatching this for the nth time and I still love how well everyone knows Matt that they all at different parts of the video repeatedly mention how Matt should have a donut space on his desk and how much he'll hate having to stand

I love how they are so in sync with each other that they basically said Matt doesn't like to stand and that it's borderline telling him you're fired three times as well as saying Matt needs a designated donut space twice.

I just feel bad for Jack after that video. He builds the tower of pimps with his dad and a bunch of people sign it. Then he builds a desk and it gets carved. Those projects probably hold a lot of sentimental value and now he's gonna get angry/disappointed any time he thinks of them
But at the same time he works in a place where the co founder of the company will come along and knock a hole in someone's desk with a sledgehammer just because.
don't feel bad for him, it's not an actual desk it's just a giant piece of wood. The drawers and legs weren't made by him it would literally take not even a day to make a new desk top.

I love how like one of the best parts (arguably THE best part) is them turning on Matt's computer and seeing that desktop.
