Hey Mark. One of my great grandmothers was an O'Reilly. Huron Tract settler, would have arrived with her parents as a young girl. Married a Dungey in the Egmondville area. I can't find *any* information about the O'Reilly's, but I have found - I think - their homestead in a local Atlas from the late 1800s. What was your great grandmother's husband's given name? My great grandmother was Margaret "Peggy" O'Reilly.
@@erinmcmichael4783 Many of the O'Reillys did settle in the Egmondville area and some eventually traveled west to Michigan. I know this after doing 23 and me. I've connected with several DNA relatives through the O'Reilly name in and through out the Detroit area.
Did the tour about 10 years ago. While we were there we went into the barn and while we were in there a ladies digital camera went completely dead. When we go out of the barn the camera was fully charged again. Mr salts said that happened quite a bit. Loved the tour and appreciate the story
Well done Mr Salts. My great grandmother was a Donnelly. She was also from Tipperary. She married an O'Reilly and came to Canada around 1890.

Thank you Mr Salt, was a honour to meet you 20 years ago, would love to visit again🙏🍀
Much love always
Why are you taking the Donnely's side, They were terrorizers.
Hardly. Maybe you should educate yourself on the actual history of the family and the area at that time.
Oh really ? You must have been there eh ? SMH
