@@DomDizzler5053 Fuzzed-out guitars don't automatically throw a band into the Shoegaze category. Also, many people cite MBV as an influence without having a shoegaze sound. Not that it ultimately matters, but Shoegaze is marked by its tendency towards heavy reverb, buried vocals, and open and washy chords with a dreamlike quality. There's nothing about Wednesday's music that suggests those elements. Conversely, Wednesday is raw, dry, mostly intelligible, and noisy. Not the same thing.
