Ahh i like the Commentary Content so much more than the Training Logs :) I'm propably more of a listener at my stage of skill :D When you don't have that keen eye for weightlifting yet you don't realise whats going on with the individual lifters. Also the information kinda brings the athletes closer to the viewer. Like Characters in Books, when you don't know anything about them yet, you really can't connect to them ;)

awesome job on the commentary again! Im also very tight i wish i knew what kind of mobility drills that one lifter was doing. i got into this after doing kettlebell sport for a couple of years and took some time off cause of a injury at work. then seen the vids from this channel and started doing this. fell in love with the sport! just wish i was better but working on progressing.

My mistake - Kara is a FOUR-time national champion.

Yeah I agree with strength log listening to commentary is more enjoyable but, I like the video either way. Thanks for the content your website is where I learned to snatch lol.

Love the commentary. Quick safety question. I know these athletes are professionals, but it looks dangerous to have another bar right behind the lifter like at the 3:15-3:30 min mark. I'm sure these athletes know how to properly break away from the bar, just a safety concern. Still great commentary, I'm working on my shoulder stability and tightness, doing a lot warm ups and cool downs with bands. Keep these commentary videos coming. Thanks!

That's enough room for a lifter who isn't sketchy. A beginning lifter I may not let lift like that. But if you need 8' to do a snatch, you're doing something wrong.

hey greg - thanks for posting these. quick question. the gentleman at the 4minute mark, white shirt black shorts doing snatch+ohs. i watched a few times to make sure, but i could still be mistaken, but it seems like his starting feet position is wider than when he lands? like he brings his feet? 5:20 mark his feet dont slide. is this something because he has long legs?

He just feels more comfortable with a wide starting stance and it works for him. Receiving position and starting position aren't related, i.e. you don't have to squat wider than you pull, although that's most common - you have to pull and squat in the "correct" position for yourself.
I'm not sure what you mean by his feet don't slide - he picks them up slightly and replaces them on the floor flat like he should.
