You explain things very well, the way that you speak keeps a person calm while they are attempting to do something they just know is going to a major disaster! Thank you for this great video!

Beautiful! What about using an inexpensive lampshade as the base? You would still cover it but It would save on the cutting time.

Thank you for showing us these easy to do tree collars. They are costly to buy in the stores, so I appreciate these DIYs.

I just used your idea but on the lighted flower tree. It’s got the cheap four legged base. I did use the laundry baskets as the base is 14”. Used brown light cardboard and cut n glued into the basket shape. Used striped burlap sheer and basically same as you. It needed a top as the tree has a long skinny pole - but thanks. Looks good 😌

Well done! Score on the rug find! ~ As soon as you brought out that basket...I have weaving on my brain. Thick burlap ribbon, strips, raw edged muslin or even brown paper. Oh the madness...dollar tree is closed at this hour! : )

I guess the questions is…how big is the fixed base of your tree, and will it slide into/over the collar? Great idea tho!

Super cute tree collars …… side note: for large ones, Home Depot has wicker (faux wicker)……metal, etc collars for $25…… a lot better price than I’ve seen anywhere else. TFS your talent w/us!! 🎄🤶🏼🎅🏼 Merry Christmas 2020 all!

How did the tree fit inside. I would have liked to see that part. Our little tree has a short base stem. So that has me concerned
