I could just imagine how expensive this would be to buy these types of stems. Instead of buying the individual stems, I'd say, find entire trees at thrift stores or Marketplace and be sure they are individual branches and not the ones that are permanently attached. Probably much cheaper and more bang for your buck.
This idea is more for a designer higher end look. We are an high end floral design studio. Another channel might have some more budget friendly ways to add stems. There is a difference between an high end designer look with nicer realistic stems and just making it look fuller. But thank you for your input for those that might know the difference.
Gotcha. Some of us do have the knowledge of locating and creating high end looking things without spending a fortune at the expensive boutiques. I'm sure the some of the "designers" watching your channel just may appreciate the tip I gave in order for them to obtain a higher profit margin, since that seems to be the end goal here. Have a Merry Christmas🎀
I buy a few at time like 5 of each that I like and each year Iv collected so many now and waiting till after the holidays when they go in sale is your best bet too
This is absolutely beautiful and makes your tree custom! Instead of spending a couple thousand dollars on a tree this year, I’m going to buy a less expensive one and spruce it up. So excited to do this! Thank you!
I have had a plain green tree for years which I love. But I wanted a flocked tree last Yr for a change but to expensive to change. BUT I bought a flocked tree in the sale ( was 100e bought for 16e in sale). I then cut all the flocked branches off and stuffed them into my plain tree. Worked a treat. With any extra branches left over y I used accross my fireplace and accross my bay window. Saved a fortune. IRELAND
Thank you. I have always been afraid of manipulating my stems and branches and breaking them. I usually just stick them in the tree and then they look nuts. I will try this method, it’s really beautiful
We have them available in our shop on Amelia Island, Florida. We may be able to ship some to you, send us an e-mail at chris@revelation.design with what style you're looking for.
Love your beautiful trees and your detailed explanations! Where can I purchase some quality stems? Hobby stores have them but they are short and not very full. Thank you again, I feel like I can achieve a better tree.
I've been unable to find the larger sized stems that would fit with an artificial tree, everything I can find are small picks more appropriate for wreaths or center pieces. Could you provide a source to purchase these?
I haveca white tree too but have used silver or gold branches denying on my ornaments and sometimes both. Because with white tree it's obviously fake, right.
The more stems you add the fuller of a look you will get, but we recommend 3 stems per foot at a minimum. This also depends on the fullness of each greenery stem.
We live on an island in South Puget Sound in Washington State, so we are fortunate to have a filling station. It’s over an hour to a florist shop. Plus, I am disabled. Could you please suggest venders for the beautiful branches that you used? Or even better, please make them available for us to purchase from you. I have just discovered your channel and am now a loyal subscriber. I sent your videos to my daughter and sister. 🎉
We carry multiple different companies products in our shop that supply items like these to the floral industry. You can visit your local florist and see what they have to offer!
I would like to know if anyone has done this but used REAL branches?? I would imagine real pine or spruce bows would have to be in a water pick of some sort. Does anyone make a large water pick for this purpose?
The fresh branches have been used before with no water source. They last about a week. They are much heavier than the artificial so it does pull on the tree quite a bit. Pine works the best. There are large water tubes available for this purpose.
The great thing about the stems is that as you walk around the tree, the lights are exposed between the added stems and leaves with every angle. You can also add more lights or push the stems in deeper into the tree.
When you stuff the tree with stems, it doesn't look like you are securing them to the branches, and how do you keep the tree from falling over with the extra weight on the front. We have had our tree fall over with just the ornaments on the front if the tree. Our tree is filled with memories, each ornament is a gift or something chosen to represent a trip or occasion like our anniversary, they can't be replaced and can't be lost in a tree crashing to the ground. Help..
It sounds like your problem is the actual tree you’re using. If it’s a real tree those take decorations very differently than an artificial tree. If you have an artificial tree and you’re having it fall over then there’s either a problem with your base/stand and trees infrastructure or it’s just an overall lightweight flimsy made tree. I’ve got 4 trees up in my house, two 7’ skinny pencil trees from Walmart that I’ve used for over 7 years now, 1 very cheap crappy quality 6’ tree I’ve had for so long I can’t even remember wear I got it from and 1 8’ higher end flocked tree that I’ve used for about 10 years now. All 4 trees get extra lights, lots of ribbons, tons of sprigs/sprays/picks, larger decor items I wire in, oversized ornaments, ornament clusters etc. I have always done ornate trees and I’ve never personally or known anyone have any issue with their tree falling (unless they have a cat or a faulty/poorly built tree). If your tree can too easily wobble, rock or rotate when you’re decorating it there’s a good chance the problem is within the frame of the tree and tree stand. You might try weighting your tree base to your floor with weights and some ties and then covering it with a tree collar. You could also possibly try some sturdy gauge wire and halfway up the trunk of your tree loop the wire and extend it out the back towards your wall that the tree back is up against and secure it to the wall with and anchor hook, kind of like how a heavy mirror or tall bookshelf gets anchored to the wall
You also need to balance the weight equally on a tree. If you're mostly decorating one side of a tree, it's going to naturally fall over because of basic physics unless you have an extra wide heavy stand or something like an iron patio umbrella stand.
The tree should not fall over no matter how many stems or ornaments you have on it. If you have this issue, make sure your tree is all the way in the stand and the stand is sturdy enough for your tree and it’s secure. We decorate one side of 20 trees we set up in the shop and mostly one side of every tree we set in client’s homes depending on the view points of the clients path. Invest in a good tree, like Allstate, Raz, Melrose or any other high quality tree.
I know I'm late to this video. I tried to link at your website and I see you don't sell these sterns as your a florist and use real greenery. Where are you getting your sterns from? Ty
We do sell all of these stems in our showroom. We have a lot of merchandise but for this year, still in-store shopping. Everything is 50% off Now through December 24th.
Why don’t you respond to people asking you where to get these stems? Tell us pedestrians where do you purchase the stems. You have a whole tutorial about enhancing a Christmas tree without providing the info on where to get the advertised product. Waste of time!

I've been doing this for years with my tree and garlands. It the extra texture and colors just adds a special something.
Agreed texture and colors are the principle components for Christmas tree decorating to make it look outstanding ❤

Higher quality stems have wires in them so you can bend easy.
Oh these tips are going to really level up my tree . Just beautiful what you’ve done thank you so much for the tips.❤
What a fantastic tip! I'm going to do this for my holiday party!
You can try fresh greenery stems too for added fragrance! Event-only purposes.
I just loooooove those branches!! Where can I get them????
We sell them. We have been shipping out assorted branches a lot this season. Email Chris@revelation.design to see what we have available.

Very Beautiful Christmas decor !!! Everything is gorgeous. 😍🌲🎀
Is there a place that you recommend getting beautiful artificial branches as nice as the ones you use?

I love the stems..love your vids lots of love from the Philippines

We do ship our stems to clients all over the states. But you can always try a high end florist or interior design company.
I really love that! What kind of little white lights do you use?
We use led cluster lights to add to our prelit trees. Most of our trees are prelit with led lights.
How many extra branches dou need to buy for a 7 ft tree I love your idea
We suggest at least 3 varieties of stems and at least 3 of each.
You really know your stuff. Gorgeous. Been watching all your decorating tips and getting great information
So glad i found your channel. I too have stage 3 breast cancer was considering sett
Lauching a channel. I love to decorate
Decorating with the C word. Do you think I can do it?
You can do anything you want. Only you can hold yourself back. Pace yourself and do what your body allows you to.

I love this! Thank you Brooke!
This was fantastic- thank you💫
where can I get stems like you use
wonderful ideas thanks for sharing. I think maybe trees should come that way but it will cost us a million. Anyways fabulous.
Thank you for tips but adding brunches has one minuse -covered biggest part of this beautiful lights ....
Can you add stems up in top area to make a 7ft tree look like a nine ft?
It seems to me the added stems hide some of the lights. Could you add stems first, then place lights?
I like the branches Idea but there so expensive.
Gorgeous for my green tree. I have a white tree what stems do you suggest
White stems on a white tree look best, we do plan on filming a video on this exact subject shortly!
I haveca white tree too but have used silver or gold branches denying on my ornaments and sometimes both. Because with white tree it's obviously fake, right.
@@REVELATIONDESIGN We have a flocked tree (not white) do you sell stems for this type of tree?
I wish to have that beautiful xmas tree but i cant afford such masterpiece
Hi where can I buy the stems?❤
So what would you recommend as to how many pieces of stems to add for a 6’ tree
The more stems you add the fuller of a look you will get, but we recommend 3 stems per foot at a minimum. This also depends on the fullness of each greenery stem.

hi! i can't find the fluffing tutorial video, could you link it to me please?
It seems to cover the lights up too much , except for the smaller light stems.
The great thing about the stems is that as you walk around the tree, the lights are exposed between the added stems and leaves with every angle. You can also add more lights or push the stems in deeper into the tree.
Where can we find the large ball garland??
We can ship them to you. You can get 1 or any amount. They come in cases of 4.
