Whalemouth Radio is a music and media project by Dr. Bob Singley.
Almost every night I improvise and stream live experimental music accompanied by field recordings, photographs and videos from my hikes (over ~12,000 miles) on the Pacific Crest, Continental Divide, Appalachian and other routes across the Great American Wildernesses. My work is deeply reflective on my long-distance hiker experiences and I hope to transport the audience to the places I’ve been through images and music. You will see a slideshow sourced from thousands of my photographs and videos from my hikes alongside (live!) original improvised music that I create overnight.
