- In this video, I travel from Cairo to Nagrig, Egypt, where the famous football player Mo Salah is from. Nagrig is located in the Nile Delta in northern Egypt. The people who live in this area of Egypt don't see many tourists as they do in other places such as Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan, etc. This was an authentic Egyptian village experience, and I hope you enjoy watching it!

@@KerrySomewhere there are diverse cultures and practices within Egypt from Cairo to Alexandria to the delta to upper Egypt. It’s not easy for the untrained eye to notice all differences cause sometimes they’re pretty subtle. But I guess, It shouldn’t matter unless you’re some anthropologist who’s researching the Egyptian people for a scientific study or something 😂.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback. I love traveling in the Middle East and Africa. My next few videos will be from Iraq and Lebanon where u met a lot of Liverpool supporters and a lot of kind people. Later this year I'm traveling to Uganda, Ethiopia, Pakistan and India. Next winter I'll return to Egypt and Iraq. The hospitality un the Arab world is the best anywhere! I'm sorry that there is so much racism and prejudice from the western world toward Arab countries. It's really unfair and the media is terrible.
It's the western media and government to blame, selling false narratives to go and invade for their own greed.
The people in general can't be racist as Europe and the west are the most open places to all nationalities, you can't really say that for other places around the world.

Hello Kerry from NZ, I'm an Egyptian, thanks for your beautiful video about our legend, Mo Salah, I'm sorry the police toldya you have to leave the school, I don't know why they did that, it's embarrassing, nonetheless you visited the Delta where 95% of Egypt population live there and along the both sides of the river nile that's why you see all this greenery, I suggest you visit coastal city Alexandria which is 2.5hrs ish from Cairo, stay safe and enjoy your trip. 🇪🇬
I didn't realize 95% of the Egyptian population lives in the Delta! Very interesting. I noticed how different it was in this part of Egypt. Also, I did visit Alexandria! I'm releasing a new video on Friday and it's from Alexandria!

I went to Egypt and I really enjoyed it there, the people were great, I am a huge Liverpool fan and I live in the UK and go to a lot of the home games at Anfield..The only downside I can say about Egypt is that they don't like the camera and the authorities and super paranoid about someone filming or documenting their time there and keep asking for 'permits' but other than that it was great..
Yes! They asked for our permit. We had a permit from the Ministry of Interior! 😂 Also, that's great you go to a lot of home games! Lucky you! 🤩🙌

As an Egyptian, I say to you, do not be surprised that you are prohibited from taking pictures and exhausting you to obtain permits, because the regime in Egypt is a military, dictatorial, repressive regime that is afraid of anything, even its own shadow. The first and last enemy for him is freedom🤫😔.
People here in Egypt (me included) simply consider filming them by strangers as an intrusion into their personal privacy. We usually don't accept being filmed because we are skeptic (not paranoid). This becomes even worse when this is done by a foreigner with whom we don't share a "common language". So, asking for formal permission is a kinda guarantee that you were informed about the etiquette of filming Egyptians in the first place. 😊
@@Eagles_Hunter Just saying, I've been to 36 different countries and Egypt was the one country that I found it very hard to document my experience and found it difficult to film..The people were great and very friendly..Its mostly the authorities I'm talking about here..

I am an Egyptian, and the talents of Egypt are very many. It only needs someone to shake off the dust that is above it and bring it out to the lights, but no one here has done that, at least in the past decade, but Mohamed Salah was exceptional, as he was the one who was able to shake off his dust himself. Al-Ahly, but he played in the top clubs in the world, and I think that if this had happened, he would not have reached the world, or at least he would have arrived, but it was too late.
Really appreciate the love u shown to Egyptian people this is ur second home and we are pleased to see u in our country
