Came across your channel after watching some Scott brown carpentry videos. Stoked I get to see some australian builders in action, your wall framing video is going to come in handy for a DIY’er like myself when I build our garage in under our house. Keep up the good content mate!
Hi Jack, what's that scaffold called? Do you use that so you don't have to pay for a full 2 storey staged scaffold for the entire length of the job, and just get in a full staged scaffold at the end to do the cladding?
Great videos. Sorry I ask you, I'm foreigner and want to work on construction, would you recommend your profession as carpenter over others specializations such as draftsman, painter or plumber? Thanks in advance for answering.
Brilliant video! I'm living in Taiwan, and so love timber house. here are all concre building in Taiwan , I m really wish that I can build a timber house like you did, in Taiwan , someday future
Love ur Chanel. I have a dumb question about my she'd. Try to build a 4x3.6m shed. Went bunnings only got 75x35 h2 instock so i used this to frame up. But bit worried Cos the timber seems bit thin. Should i kncked off and wait to buybthe thicker timberWhats ur thought on this. Thanks advanced
What’s up man I just found you channel and it’s your content is awesome! Do you ever do finish carpentry work or all framing? I work for a residential remodeling outfit so we don’t do too much framing.
2 plank 'Hang-On' scaffolding by a company called Buildsafe; used for roof and fascia.Their system is patented, but you can buy similar systems from scaffold suppliers such a Mr.Scaffold here in Vic.

At least put gang nails one before you go POV, Johnny sins has more of an idea. Mr Martin, what you have just built is one of the most insanely chaotic things I have ever seen. In no point of your rambling, incoherent framing were you even close to anything that could be considered a qualified build, everyone who fixed this frame is now dumber for fixing it, I award no points, AND MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOUL.

Forgot to mention plan to do a lean to roof and metal sheet roofing for light weight and not plan to shelving inside at all.
Bit on the light side, probably gonna come down to bracing, hoop iron the shit out of it or wrap it in ply
@@Jack_martin Do u mean i should just metal bracing the corners or top and bottom
@@classicjdm6762 angle brace it, a cross on each wall will take a lot of shake out
@@Jack_martin get it thanks. What size timber should i use for roofing. Given he wing span is 4m. Guess i can't have a heavy roof

I work for a residential remodeling outfit so we don’t do too much framing.
Occasionally, most our finsih works pretty straight forward, hand some doors arc and skirt nothing super fancy
can we get a tour of tool belt
Just got me diamond back belt Fucken stoked!!
Interesting that you don't double top plate your walls
love some tool reviews mate. Keep up the good work!
How does the milwaukee framing gun go?
Quiet aye
