- What is a joyful life? Is it simply a life of happiness, a life relatively free from trouble and trials?
Living a joyful life does often entail happiness. A joyful life is sometimes marked by warmth and cheer, by happiness. But a joyful life is far more than that, because “joy” is more than mere cheer, more than laughter, and feeling good.
Look at Jesus’ own words on this word "joy": They are found in John 15:11, “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”
