Jammu Kashmir is the land of incredible and beautiful valleys, green meadows and a large community of shepherds- Gujjar Bakarwals. There are many hidden and unexplored places in Jammu Kashmir. Though Kashmir valley is relatively popular among tourists but the valleys of Jammu division are still unknown to the travelers community. Chingam valley is one such lesser known valley in Kishtwar district of Jammu Kashmir. Chingam valley lies 40 kms from Kishtwar and right below the Sinthan top. Sinthan top connects Kishtwar with the Kashmir valley.

These birds are Guinea fowls , usually these are wild but now people are breeding them too , In both punjab people call this bird Titri , like peacocks and hens these are short flight birds but very very agile , hard to catch them in jungle.
