Usually, I make birthday bags. They have a Happy Birthday pencil(They smell like birthday cake.). Also, I'd put in candy, a fun eraser, mini bubbles, and some confetti. I'd tell them they have everything they'll need to have a mini celebration at home with their families.
However, at my current school( This will be my 3rd year. First one in a primary frade.), the school gives out birthday tote bags with wrapped gifts in the for grades K-2. So, I'll just give them a pencil.😊
I am starting to teach second grade. This is my fourth day teaching second grade and this is my first year teaching second grade, and this is my second year of teaching my first year teaching I talked kindergarten this year I’m teaching second grade😊😊😊
I have the same birthday chair covers...that I totally forgot to use last year!

I'm year 29. I moved to my current state 7 years ago( long story). Had I stayed in my previous state, I would be eligible for retirement this June.😢
I am moving from 5th to 2nd grade this year. Second is MY grade. I taught it during student teaching, he first 5 years of my career as well as 2 more later.
I have taught all grades from K- middle school. Fifth grade was the last one I had never taught. I am really looking forward to this year. My inner child is 8. I'll feel right at home. Also, my baby is going to be in 2nd grade. Viva the Class of 2035! 😀
