Thank you Sir. This is the best video I have seen on Calibration.
Thank you for watching Jagaraj!
Best video on calibration of RTD transmitters till seen
Thanks for such a great video.........!!!!
Thanks for you kind comments, very much appreciated.
Nice injection of humour regarding whistling being optional 👍
Thanks. You may also do some singing if your colleagues are not too close... :-)

Great video
Really very Informative...
If there is any possibility please add subtitles sir....
Great video Thanks very much
I have a question, please
Should I calibrate the RTD probe after calibrating the transmitter to ensure the whole loop is calibrated or calibrating the transmitter is sufficient?
Dear Ahmed,
Thank you for your kind comments.
In order to calibrate a measurement loop, you should calibrate all parts in the loop, or then you calibrate the whole loop as one.
When you make a calibration of the whole loop, then you would for example in this case put the temperature sensor into a temperature bath or dry-block and then read the DSC display. If there is no error, then you know that all parts in the loop are ok. But if there is error, then you should check each part separately.
Of course, you may also calibrate each part separately.
So certainly, the temperature sensor should also be calibrated. Sometimes the sensor is not calibrated as often as the transmitter, or the sensor may be sent out for calibration, or the sensor is replaced regularly with a new calibrated sensor.
Please check our TH-cam channel for some videos where only the sensor is calibrated and some videos where the sensor+transmitter are calibrated together.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
