Thankyou Robert for carrying rockabilly through the 70's and early 80s when it was virtually dead ! Your a hero man and i love the stuff you do !! Keep rockin Rob !!!
The deadly dynamic duo showing how great rock and roll is executed! Chris Spedding is phenomenal and Gordon's voice shakes buildings! This combination of excellence will be sorely missed!! Thank you for the days ! RIP RG i ❤ you man .
When Jack Bruce did his first solo album he called on Chris Spedding ...he could have have chosen anyone he wanted! He chose Chris Spedding!! one of the best all time greats.. Sorely underrated!!!
I probably know more than and have seen more Chris Spedding shows and I am probably the same age or older..what is your beef?...in my opinion he is one of the greatest...but he does not have name the recognition or fame of a lot of the "big names" unless you are a BIG fan of his appertly like you and myself..be well Sir
Mov It: l'original est de Clif Richard de 1959. Robert Gordon a vraiment la voix pour chanter du Rock'n'roll et du Rockabilly. Dommage qu'il n'a pas eu autant de succès que les autres de sa catégorie.
Compare and contrast this version to Cliff Richard's 1958 version of Move It with the later named Shadows. I like this version a great deal. Thanks for posting.
It's a modified '71 Flying V Medallion that he bought in 1974 whilst touring with Sharks in Memphis. He originally had it modified to have one humbucking pickup, but did swap over to a P90 by about 1981 or certainly 1982. The guitar was stolen from Chris in NYC sometime in late 1986.
This music charges my soul thanks Robert long live rock a billy
Une voix exceptionnelle..J adore ❤❤❤❤Paix à son âme
Chris Spedding nailed it. And Gordon is an American treasure. Well done lads. RIP Robert Gordon.
Loved seeing him in NYC in the 80’s in the lone star cafe
Awesome!!!
I was lucky enough to see him at the Coach House with Chris Spedding on guitar and Bobby Chouinard on Drums.

This is amazing shit
Maybe Chris Spedding as a Brit suggested this tune for Robert Gordon.
I'm guessing this is early 1980s
BTW, you know that CLIFF RICHARD had the first hit with this, right?
Number 2 on the UK charts forever ;)
Its Chris Spedding aint it.
Where was LINK WRAY ???,
Love it . Whos the guitar player.
Only the Great Chris Spedding!
f
a
he has the wide stance..notice? cowboy?
ACE fuckin' RAWKS!!!
GUITAR PLAYER IS SOOO FINE....
Chris Spedding
oh oui reprise clif richard
and they speak of Elvis..HA
Elvis never had Link Wray!
guitarist is c.spending...he is shy...look his guitar all thetime...or something...not to play worse..but he do..
Robert Gordon's version of the song is louder and rockier than Cliff Richard's version. Robert makes Cliff sound plastic and too polished.
Not as good as Cliff's
