This is THE song I listen to, every single time I drive to the slopes. Can't erase the memory of wind gushing on your face, as you power down the endless slopes, being utterly, completely free. As though nothing else matters. Time stands still. Ah, snowboarding. :'-)
I used to love angels and airwaves until Tom delonge turned into a massive corporate shill. Now Tom and Maynard from tool are like the poster boys for covid. The corporatocracy prevails.
The Naked & Famous - No Way lyrics When the daylight comes Do you feel it? Leave your bag of bones Underneath your bed Everything is as It should be I'm leaving now As I should be No way, no way No we're never gonna talk about it No way, no way No we're never gonna speak again No way, no way No we're never gonna talk about it No way, no way When the night descends I sleep in All the things you've done Come to hold me All that we can do Is smile It would be like this For a while No way, no way No we're never gonna talk about it No way, no way No we're never gonna speak again No way, no way No we're never gonna talk about it No way, no way [?] I'm not sad, really All this means, losing Letting go, oo-oo Dont look out, oo-oo No way, no way, no way
This song makes me feel sad and happy at the same time. It does no matter how many years have passed since the first time I listened to it. I just love it! Thanks T/N/A/F
I was just telling a friend after we saw Mumford and Sons with $45 tickets that while they were exceptional, I saw these guys in a smaller venue for $15 just two years ago and they were phenomenal... the only thing I could figure, jokingly, was that Naked and Famous actually like their fans... just hard to believe that a band with this talent and drive to crank out great music doesn't push for bigger arenas and instead thrives in smaller theater venues which accentuate the power and range of their sound... the last two albums were so intense, almost concept albums the way they tied themes together. Love love love em!!!
Earlier this year I saw them in Austin, TX. I've seen them a few years ago in Portland, OR. They are more impressive in small venues because of the technical details. They are the most impressive with Bose QC35 headphones on. Yeah, I know.
This is still their very best song ("Young Blood" is amazing don't get me wrong but "No Way" is a masterpiece). I actually found myself terrified of the loud parts the first times I heard it but since then it grew on me and it now has a very special place in my heart. Although the second album is great, and the third is good too, none of them has the brilliance this song and this album has. "Passive Me Aggressive You" is mindnumbingly good, and the feelings this song and others give you are just sublime... This should really be the credit titles of a movie or something. The video is also breathtaking and mysterious and emotional, and I like the fact there's no clear storyline beside a bride, a ninja, and a black power-ranger (or more than one of each) running around and random stuff blowing up constantly.
The whole point of Indie bands is produce music that isn't churned out on a conveyor belt. It isn't there to appease the masses, its there for smaller appreciative audiences. It doesn't matter how many like them. They enjoy what they do
I love the representations in the video. When things come crashing down around you... Loosing a parent is the worst... Either you come out of it a beautiful person or you stay in your own hell.
Its crazy how their songs tend to open up suppressed painful memories that need to be remembered. I always get teary eyed but am thankful to for those moments. Love these videos! SO VISUAL! Thanks tNaF!
The Naked and Famous are an indie electronic band from Auckland, New Zealand, formed in 2007....... NO WE NEVER GONNA TALK ABOUT IT NO WAY NO WAAAAAAYYYY.
This video tells a story. To me it seems the bride's dreams have been shattered, either by being stood up at the alter or suffering the death of her to be husband. A tragedy, really. "No I'm never gonna talk about it, no way, NO WAY!"
This tune has been my wake-up alarm for the past 3 months. No matter how often i hear it, i can never get used to it. It's the very definition of epic. And has been, long before "art of flight".

Malese Jow brought me here... Seriously amazing artists like Malese and The Naked and Famous and many others are totally underappreciated!!! Though I keep supporting these pure artists till my last breath leaves my body!
As a rock listener for the most part, I recommend this album. Some parts sound like "Radiohead", others reminds of M83, or even Roxette. It may not be so original in its sound, but it is authentic and flawless.
I literally found this song, like heard it for the first time a month ago. And it was the day after my husband was arrested for assaulting me. For me, it’s been life saving and inspiring and so beautiful! I have a protection order against him and haven’t seen him since it happened and I believe without music, especially this band and this song, I wouldn’t have the strength and resolve to end my abusive marriage. I have immense gratitude! Why all of the snowboarding references?
I was shown this song in college around 2014 by my friend who said it was in his snowboarding playlist. I guess the breakdowns are just fun and exciting to shred to
I knew a handful of their songs years and years ago and loved them but only now I’m checking them out and wow I have been sleeping on them they’re amazing

Bons tempos
I kinda like the fact that a good band like TNAF hasn't been exposed to a mass and has been creating what they really wanna express through music without any big pressure or need to make it dumbed-down
The song means what ever you want it to mean to you, the way a song makes YOU feel is something special to yourself, and you know that feeling you get when you listen to it, and that is something no one can never take away from you
It's April 23rd, 8:21 am ... my local ski area 7 springs is getting 16 inches of snow today...im getting dressed and ready to go up there and hit some features...no better song to listen too. Cant wait to get some fresh pow lines in April...unheard of around these parts.
Opinionated Explanation: Since its about a relationship ending or one of the people leaving with no way to save it or turn back, im going to assume these three people are the three parts of her that are tearing her apart. Her Heart, as represented by the bride, has to learn to let go of the flowers or the love. The warrior is her aggression that builds up towards hitting people but never does hit anyone, just the things around them causing the relationship to get messy. The passive is the man in the helmet. Guilty of watching things literally fall apart around him. He has no emotion, he just projects the emotions around him. In the end its all mixed up and colorful because the relationship has gotten so messy that there isn't a certain part of herself, or himself, to blame for the reason to leave, its all of them.
So glad they decided to chose 'No Way' as their next official video. Had been waiting for it since I seen the trailer for the video via FB. Then I watched it as soon as it was uploaded! Amazing song, amazing video - standard.
I guess we all hate it when we get ignored, specially from the person we love, their is nothing you can do about it and you feel miserable for no reason everytime you think of this person and what does it change.. fucking nothing its like an endless circle
This song makes me think... about the things that have been done and can´t be taken back... makes me cry... of losing good friends because of bad decisions... makes me strong... because I know that they were no real friends, only I trusted the wrong people. We are never gonna talk about it, we are never gonna speak again. Just as in my life. So sad, so true, so real. :(

Mere words cannot express my sheer, unadulterated love for this band.
❤
you and 30 other people over the course of a decade had the same thought.
Damn
The Naked and Famous kind of remind me of Angels and Airwaves. Both bands are outstanding!!

Still here. Still great
The last minute of the song never fails to give me chills

I saw them open for Imagine Dragons a couple year back, and The Naked and Famous out-shined the headliner and I've been a huge fan ever since
I saw that same show, only went for Naked and Famous lol. they are by far the better group
This song makes me feel sad and happy at the same time. It does no matter how many years have passed since the first time I listened to it. I just love it! Thanks T/N/A/F

remember hearing this song on my favourite programme back in 2011 and loved it and now love this band.
This band is so freakin good. Underrated if you ask me. This shit is pure emotion I love it.

jacksonjDell whoa, the original is also great o.o

jacksonjDell It's essentially the same exact song but with a subtle drumtrack. Pretty lazy IMO.

There are some songs that seem to transcend time and space, causing your imagination to run wild. This is one of them.

All the things you've done
Come to hold me
All that we can do
Is smile
It would be like this
For a while
No way, no way
No we're never gonna talk about it
No way, no way
No we're never gonna speak again
No way, no way
No we're never gonna talk about it

Song that helped me through some very dark times in my life in 2012. Maybe I can even say this song saved me. Thank you

The sudden burst of the beat/drums. Quite like Coldplay's Clocks. I LOVE this effect. What's it called?
It's called: "the good part"
Hahahahaha XD
Made my day... or night :P
Stephen Holman i just laughed so hard! You're awesome.
Courtney Cobble true
Hemang Chauhan its not a real effect, its simply called "drop" (the beat "drops")
wow slow motion visuals..... listened 20times....... awesome song....
Absolutely love The Naked and Famous. And this song made "The Art of Flight" awesome!!
the vocals, the sound, the chorus, the video.. perfect package bro. never new newzealanders had this much swag

This song will always make me happy and will always remind me of snowboarding.
Listening to this song brings me back scenes of The Art of Flight ❤❤❤
The song means what ever you want it to mean to you, the way a song makes YOU feel is something special to yourself, and you know that feeling you get when you listen to it, and that is something no one can never take away from you
The shit I'm forced to listen to every day, this is a breath of fresh air...commercial stations drive me crazy and they all play the same shit all day
I'm in love with this song!
Another amazing music video once again by TNAF! Good job! Nice, I can watch this everyday.
I will always think of breakfast, Travis Rice, and snowboarding when i listen to this song! "That's what i wanted! Yeahh!" :)
It just hurts. Fantastic.
