Poor Uriel, all she freaky wanted was to serve alongside the person she loved. Instead she watched him die and had to deal with the apocalypse alone. She is one tough badass
I wouldn't mind if Uriel got her own spin-off game. She and the Hellguard are probably very depleted at this point but you don't survive in enemy territory that long without having some skill.
We would absolutely be open to a full game following her and the rest of the hellguard i'm sure there were many quests during the hundred year exile. :D
I can't wait to see more Uriel. I hope her and Fury have a chat about...something...anything....look it doesn't matter. Just more Uriel and angel stuff.
Uriel is amazing and with how core she is to the game franchise so far (as well as the fact that we spend the whole time as Fury on earth) we're sure to see her for at least a short time in DS3 :D
i think the reason war spared uriel was a show of good faith so that when the horsemen confront the charred council they would have the hellguard on there side
Considering War's like a hundred times her age, I'd wager that'd be pretty creepy. Especially considering how many of her comrades and brothers-in-arms of hers Was butchered during Darksiders 1 and the Abomination Vault.
We agree and loved the character, and it's a bit jarring. But we will say that we personally do enjoy the actress from the second game's voice and enjoy her in other titles so it was still enjoyable.
We feel like we almost have to run into her at some point. Uriel would still be on Earth when Fury stomps around, and we have screenshots of her running into Ulthane, so would be kinda crazy not to run into Uriel.
Isn't it possible that instead of War being resurrected by the destruction of the 7th seal, it was really Azreal resurrecting him as per his request prior to fighting the destroyer. Since Horsemen land in comets anyway I always thought this was Azreal ''Serving (me) one last time''.
We can understand the thought there but what War was asking for when speaking to Azreal was to do the meteor thing to fight the destroyer. War can't do that on his own. when he does it in the beginning of the game it's the council pretending that the seventh seal was broken, later in the game when he comes back to earth it's the council once again. And when it's to go to fight the destroyer it's Azreal who has more than enough magical might to do so. We have farther proof that the breaking of the seal brings him back 1. in that the magical swirl around the broken seal matches that around War as he stands. 2. That it brings back Death who we know is dead before that.
I wonder how is in charge of the white city now, abaddon has been "death" for 100 years and azrael was a prisioner for the same time, and they have never told us about any other angel being close in importance to the other two.
In the book it's mentioned that there are other generals (presumably of similar rank to Abaddon) that exist, though we don't meet them, and in one of the comics Abaddon stands before a council of angels asking permission to ride to war with hell, permission he is denied. Additionally, Uriel and the Hellguard are barred from returning to the white city by order of whoever is in charge. As such, we presume that whatever person or whatever council-like body was running the White City is still in charge.
@@TrueMastersandMorons thanks! For clearing my doubts , i hope we get to see more of the angel side at some point, they cant be in the losing side of the conflic for ever right?. also a darksiders version of gabriel or raphael would be nice to see.
Do a lore video on the watcher(s) I say plural, because there is Mark Hamill's watcher which kills his sister in the comic (can't remember its name) and I've seen an image of another watcher in the third game who looks very similar to the female watcher, but the game is supposed to be set around the same time as the second game, but the female watcher is dead by then so idk
While that is true for scripture it's not true for the game lore. The game developed and made it's own story loosely based on the ideas of the stories from scripture, not a word for word take on the history there of.
"No, not alone" and "The number of the riders shall ever be four" are two of the most badass lines ever.
RIGHT! They're so awesome! :D
"I choose what once, a coward did not" still my favorite video game line ever!
Some say their relationship was less than professional"
Poor Uriel, all she freaky wanted was to serve alongside the person she loved. Instead she watched him die and had to deal with the apocalypse alone.
She is one tough badass
She is that.
And on top of it all, the man she loved turned out to be the same guy murdering her brothers in arms the last 100 years. Tough break.
That "Not alone" line still gets me to this day

thanks for mentioning me you guys and hope to see in the future a video on Abbadon and Azrael..
I was so disappointed to find out the voice actor from the first game didnt come back for the second game :/

We played the games
Alot of us read the comics
But not all will read a novel with 300+ pages free from the store
Which novel is this?
Presumably the Abomination Vault, though if you can actually find that free spread that around, lol, we had to buy our copy.
I have the games, comics and the novel
I guess it's time to talk about our favorite merchant don't you think?
Talking about Vulgrim of course, but Ostegoth would be nice too as extra.
4:00 the way you made that comment sounded like war was a complete badass
That's because he is. :)

Could you do fury when the game comes out
We'll have to finish the game first to do a proper lore on her but, yes absolutely.
Dont suppose you could do a video on Abbadon’s plan and subsequently Lilith’s plan to turn him into the Destroyer.
Could you do a lore video on the watchers? Or the horsemen at the very least?

No, they were the by-product between angels and mortal women biblically. Not in this game though.
