fully agree... you really should find some way to produce this... there is no other good looking pistol in the market, such as this one. find out a way to implement a "quick change" system for the cilinder (just like the jet 1) and its going to be a smashing success!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Gregor .. I see your prototype GK1 has a weaver sight mount .. How come the huben Factory went with the Dovetail sight fitting . I have tested my Huben K1 silencer .. home made and it is super quiet .. but of course I need the red dot mounted to be able to sight the GK1.
Yes, I suggested Huben to go with Picatinny during their development of GK1 but they went with dovetail instead. I don't really think it is a bad choice but you can find more details in my comparison video of GK1 and my prototype.
@@Tnemelc-LL I find the Huben suppressor to be very efficient, especially for its size. Bigger well designed suppressor could be maybe a bit more quiet but from the ones that I have, Huben's is still the quietest.

The only thing I found was an ebay listing with a "4500 psi pcp titanium tube" and the threads on it were M18-1.5. For the rest, nothing. Gregor I see your grip is shiny and dark! Mines dark but not shiny. I really didn't like that lighter finish my GK1 grip came with. I stained mine to get it dark and it's about the same as yours. No finger grooves either! I am too prone to messing something up than to put the dremel tool on my grip! Lol best I just settle for a darker shade! You do a good work brother! I'm glad I was finally able to see your videos.
Thanks! I actually messed up a bit with mine, I made it too dark and then I tried to lighten it back up by sanding it... That of course did not work since the stain gets deep into the wood grain, so it ended up like it is. Not my best moment but I guess it is unique. :)
You are a genius and only need to find a way to get the magazine to get changed out so as to make this Airguns faster loading. This gun is fabulous!!!!!!!!
Thanks :) Yes, I get the magazine comment a lot. If the magazine would be removable, then one of the features of this gun would have to be sacrificed, probably the size or the magazine capacity and maybe accuracy... This si because now the high pressure air runs through the magazine...
This gun is absolute dope, I don't think there is one more desirable than that... Good job Gregor. In terms of suppressor usage: The large one does a good job in suppressing but looks too bulky, and make single hand use of pistol difficult. The smaller is my preferred one , but this gun sound and feels great unsurpressed. I would suggest you make your own custom made suppressor made from carbon tube, will be very light and will really suit the pistol single handed. I would like to see usage of your own boat tailed designer slugs for huben and also h&n 21 & 23 gr slugs.
Yes, I agree that slightly smaller suppressor would look much better. I have already tried my boat tail slugs in pistol, both in .22 and .25. The .22 I actually used in my first video...
I thought that very thing because the last trouble I had was from me not putting that one main spring the valve fits in to in the right orientation! But this time the pistol had been firing and operating like it was suppose to and I had been shooting it every day then one day it just started doing that dump air stuff. I hadn't fooled with it at all. Once I had gotten it right and working again I didn't turn a screw or mess with it at all. Was no need because it was working right. I've got it torn down now and have inspected every part of that valve and others and I just don't see a problem anywhere. I've had to put it down for a day or two due to frustration. I cant think straight frustrated. Something is obviously out of whack. Ill find it, and if it's due to something I did ill tell you. I've never had a problem admitting I had done something wrong. Don't really see how that could be the case this time since I hadn't touched it other than to load and shoot it. I wont give up. I will find the problem and fix it.

No full auto sound. Pull the trigger and the air dumps. Shows you just how much I know but I only saw parts for the closing valve on the parts list for sale and not the valve itself so I just got the opening valve with the intent to replace all the parts at some point trying the pistol after each successive new part was installed to see if that particular part fixed it or not. All the other parts are just Orings or some such that after inspection showed not even signs of wear much less having failed. Those 2 valves are the main functioning parts besides the trigger assembly that I figured may have some sort of problem that I couldn't physically see. I just started with that valve and didn't really think replacing it would fix it. There is more to the closing valve I guess that could malfunction so I probably should have replaced it first. I couldnt find one, only the few parts that make it up and not even all of those. Visibly inspecting the closing valve doesn't reveal any one part of it that is broken or even stressed looking in any way. I dont know. I found a parts kit that had everything except those 2 valves in it and I bought that but I don't think anything in it will fix it. I wondered about the closing valve and will just buy what I can find to rebuild the one I have and see if that helps. The pistol was operating just fine then all of a sudden started dumping the air after the first pull of the trigger. I've got it all apart at the moment waiting on the parts I was able to order. Ill let you know if any of that fixes it after I get them and put them in the pistol. As always your input is all I have in the form of help and is greatly appreciated more than you could ever know.
It is most likely something on the closing valve but not necessary the valve itself. It is possible (and highly likely) that the valve assembly is not put together correctly. The valve assembly consists of few parts (plastic valve, top conical spring, shaft and bottom spring). It is crucial that those are assembled correctly. The ussie that you are explaining tells me that the opening valve does exactly what it is supposed to, but the closing valve does not close at all. This could be due to wrongly rotated springs, shaft, or some other issue in the closing valve assembly... This assembly is very critical because it balances forces from static pressure, dynamic pressure (during the shot), inertia of the shaft weight and spring forces... Take a look at my disassembly video again and check if you have it assembled correctly. Also check that the power adjusting screw is in fact working properly. In minimum power position, it should push the closing valve to be closed at all times (the closing valve has a minor cut / groove on it so it leak. This is intentionally as it has to leak for the pistol to work properly).

Hi. Sorry to say that I don't have any influence over mold manufacturers and the ones that I had in the past were made by MP molds based in Slovenia / Europe. He does ship word vide and I am trying to get the version 3 out but I had no luck the last 2 years... You have big choice of molds in US, so I am sure you will find something that works. Maker sure that the slugs are shorter than 11 mm and the optimal weight is about 45 grains. The optimal size is about 6.42 mm. Hope this helps.
God she is pretty! One thing I love about this set up is that you didn’t go with a cheapy skinny grip. I love the wood but the fact it’s a thick grip makes all the difference!
Just wish there was a way to make it un removable for USA which says if removable, then it might be used on a firearm, even once, makes it illegal; unless it was integral and not removable. So, we would like some help here..
Gregor I've developed another problem I can't figure out. Just all of a sudden my GK1 started dumping all the air after the first shot. It won't shoot the pellet either. Just boom and then all the air dumps. Reckon what that could be? I swear I'm just about ready to give up on it. I really am. I've sweated and cussed and cried over this thing more than any woman i ever knew!
What is the power adjustment screw set at? Try closing it fully. Also, don't operate the pistol below about 150 bars. The pistol may dump all the air if at relatively low pressure and at very high power setting. This is especially likely to happen if both those conditions are met.
I had it set at 750 to shoot at a target I had set up. It was full right up to the red line, so both of those conditions weren't a factor. I've got it stripped down. I dont see anything obviously wrong. I ordered another opening valve just to see if that might fix it. Doubt it will. All I can do is put it back together and see what gives. I'll let you know what it does.
@@davidfears3384 This is not an opening valve problem but closing valve problem if the pistol just dumps the air. If you hear like a very fast "full auto" sound, then it could be a trigger problem.
I made a bullpup version of my huben k1 a couple years back. Seeing these videos inspired me to make it a true pistol version. My pistol looks almost like a benjamin marauder pistol. I have an 11" barrel and double the air tube length so hopefully I'll get a good amount of shots. I used the regulator piece too. I have yet to chrono it..need to take it outdoors to crank it up to max power to see what it would do. A Huben pistol is so much fun to shoot. :)

This suppressor was a gift I got form Claudio from Patagonia. Model is TRIDENT from RAMUS Technologies. You will see a lot more of it also on other guns now that I am allowed to use it :)

No, you don't lose power with suppressor. This is an effect that is more noticeable in firearms, but with airguns, there is virtually no difference in power. I cannot say for all suppressors, but the ones I used so far on any of my airguns / pistols had no noticeable effect on velocity.

Gregor you have helped me before. My K1 will not reset the hammer. It has the proper air fill and there are no pellets in the cylinder or the barrel. What are the steps to get the Rifle to cock and then fire. . Thanks as always for your help.
@@gregorkamensek3923 No sir the rifle was operating just fine then the trigger would not reset. The safety works just fine. I followed the new 2021 Hubin instructions to close the power wheel then bring the air pressure below 10mpa -then increase the regulator pressure to 15-18 mpa and then the internal mechanism will cock. But that did not work.
I am using Trident airgun suppressor. Check on Google regarding availability in your country... GK1 will accept any 1/2" suppressor (provided that it is rated for your caliber size or bigger) if you have the suppressor adapter.
Definitely much less than with 7,4in that I have now... probably just over 1/2. Also, the already small cylinder would have to me much smaller, so you would get maybe about 2-3 usable shots when unregulated at that point.

Odličan prigušivač, a bome i pištolj. Već dugo ja koristim huggett belita i zadovoljan sam. Ovaj pištolj puca snagom kao i moja puška. Ludilo. Možeš li mi možda pomoći kako da se riješim Hammer Bouncea na Artemis M25, a da nije preskupo riješenje. Bio bih ti zahvalan.
Oko bounca je kod svake PCP drugčije i nemam iskustva sa M25. Dobro rešenje nije nikad jednostavno... Tako ako nije baš jaki problem, onda nema smisla.

To je puška onak iz kutije oko 85 joula, a moze se izvuc puno više jer ima veliki plenum i može se još povecat u cc. Zato mi je interesantna. Da si barem bliže odnio bih je da je pogledaš i recenziraš. Zanimljiva jeftina puška sa dosta prostora za upgrade. Dobre leti Zan od 44 graina ali sve što je lakše ne valja. Radiš li privatno kakve upgrade i modifikacije da se dogvorimo za cijenu?

Moraš znati i to da svaka ovaka modifikacija za sobom ima i negativnih efekta, tako da često nema smisla jer ako želiš da sve zbilja bude perfektno, moraš i srediti sve te negativne efekte ako je to uopšte moguče... A kad vidiš kolik vremena in novca si potrošio, brzo vidiš da bi bilo jeftinije ako bi kupio puško koja več to ima... Svakako neču reči da sam proti modifikacije ali mislim da je to za čovjeka koji zapravo više voli raditi modifikacije nego pucati, kao ja :)

Can you see yourself making it in 30 cal and 35 Cal. Also a lot of people would like it if you can remove the pellet clip so you can have others preloaded to swap out quickly
Unfortunately it is not possible with this design. Right now, the high pressure air is going through the centre of the magazine so it cannot be removed. if redesigned, the pistol would become big an bulky and that is exactly what was avoided.
I want this thing. Edit: It's not just that people like this pistol, it's that they NEED it. Companies really need to wake up and see that the community is in desperate need of a defensive air pistol. If you have no intention of sharing with us the plans or producing them. I have no interest in watching you show something off that you're not going to share with anyone. I'm an engineer, fabricator and machinist so I'm going to take what I've seen and I'm going to make my own and then I'm going to give the plans out for free. AEA has a pistol coming out called "The ONE" pistol and they're dragging their feet on that as well. Guess I have to take matters into my own hands.
hi, I also fell in love with that pistol creation, I agree Gregor havent share with us is cnc aluminum blocs or 3d printed files and that's sad, but with the help of is dissasembly videos and a lot of reasearch Ive come up with a simplier idea. I think the best thing to do is reuse the picatiny aloy frame cause it already contains the trigger, the only mechanical thing to do is shorten the cable of the trigger. (as shown on the axonometric view). this frame have to be dremel a bit, pariculary the rear part to slide the main bloc inside, next you need to build a wooden handle of your choice and fix it onto the aloy frame or reuse the original pvc of the gun to make it a handle, and a little frame to protect the trigger. the main design problem is the velocity valve who have to come out somewerhe, Gregor made a wise choice by puting it behind the trigger but reusing the aloy frame for the trigger mecanism will make that part less compact than is, so the valve will be deep inside the handle, hard to acess. An other solution is to put it like 5mm behind the trigger, but maybe it will interfere with the trigger mechanism. My design does not involve drilling in the main bloc but only using the aloy frame to fix the barel, tank, trigger and handle together and cutting trough this aloy frame a bit to fit the receiver bloc. The Wetransfer contain all of my versions on photoshop and some of the parts mentionned : (anti strike spacing) we.tl/t-CVWTGagSpX Hope it will be helpfull, i'll buy that gun as soon as possible to try my stupid idea to destroy a 1800€ airgun :')

The ussie that you are explaining tells me that the opening valve does exactly what it is supposed to, but the closing valve does not close at all. This could be due to wrongly rotated springs, shaft, or some other issue in the closing valve assembly... This assembly is very critical because it balances forces from static pressure, dynamic pressure (during the shot), inertia of the shaft weight and spring forces... Take a look at my disassembly video again and check if you have it assembled correctly. Also check that the power adjusting screw is in fact working properly. In minimum power position, it should push the closing valve to be closed at all times (the closing valve has a minor cut / groove on it so it leak. This is intentionally as it has to leak for the pistol to work properly).

Hi. Sorry to say that I don't have any influence over mold manufacturers and the ones that I had in the past were made by MP molds based in Slovenia / Europe. He does ship word vide and I am trying to get the version 3 out but I had no luck the last 2 years... You have big choice of molds in US, so I am sure you will find something that works. Maker sure that the slugs are shorter than 11 mm and the optimal weight is about 45 grains. The optimal size is about 6.42 mm.

Gregor I've developed another problem I can't figure out. Just all of a sudden my GK1 started dumping all the air after the first shot. It won't shoot the pellet either. Just boom and then all the air dumps. Reckon what that could be? I swear I'm just about ready to give up on it. I really am. I've sweated and cussed and cried over this thing more than any woman i ever knew!
What is the power adjustment screw set at? Try closing it fully. Also, don't operate the pistol below about 150 bars. The pistol may dump all the air if at relatively low pressure and at very high power setting. This is especially likely to happen if both those conditions are met.
I had it set at 750 to shoot at a target I had set up. It was full right up to the red line, so both of those conditions weren't a factor. I've got it stripped down. I dont see anything obviously wrong. I ordered another opening valve just to see if that might fix it. Doubt it will. All I can do is put it back together and see what gives. I'll let you know what it does.
@@davidfears3384 This is not an opening valve problem but closing valve problem if the pistol just dumps the air. If you hear like a very fast "full auto" sound, then it could be a trigger problem.

I made a bullpup version of my huben k1 a couple years back. Seeing these videos inspired me to make it a true pistol version. My pistol looks almost like a benjamin marauder pistol. I have an 11" barrel and double the air tube length so hopefully I'll get a good amount of shots. I used the regulator piece too. I have yet to chrono it..need to take it outdoors to crank it up to max power to see what it would do. A Huben pistol is so much fun to shoot. :)

This suppressor was a gift I got form Claudio from Patagonia. Model is TRIDENT from RAMUS Technologies. You will see a lot more of it also on other guns now that I am allowed to use it :)

No, you don't lose power with suppressor. This is an effect that is more noticeable in firearms, but with airguns, there is virtually no difference in power. I cannot say for all suppressors, but the ones I used so far on any of my airguns / pistols had no noticeable effect on velocity.
If this had a bottom rail for a light, it would be a great platform for pest/rodent control.

@@gregorkamensek3923 No sir the rifle was operating just fine then the trigger would not reset. The safety works just fine. I followed the new 2021 Hubin instructions to close the power wheel then bring the air pressure below 10mpa -then increase the regulator pressure to 15-18 mpa and then the internal mechanism will cock. But that did not work.

I am using Trident airgun suppressor. Check on Google regarding availability in your country... GK1 will accept any 1/2" suppressor (provided that it is rated for your caliber size or bigger) if you have the suppressor adapter.

How much power do you think you get squeeze out of this in a 4in barrel? This is nearly perfect as a concealed carry option in many parts of the USA.
Definitely much less than with 7,4in that I have now... probably just over 1/2. Also, the already small cylinder would have to me much smaller, so you would get maybe about 2-3 usable shots when unregulated at that point.

Odličan prigušivač, a bome i pištolj. Već dugo ja koristim huggett belita i zadovoljan sam. Ovaj pištolj puca snagom kao i moja puška. Ludilo. Možeš li mi možda pomoći kako da se riješim Hammer Bouncea na Artemis M25, a da nije preskupo riješenje. Bio bih ti zahvalan.
Oko bounca je kod svake PCP drugčije i nemam iskustva sa M25. Dobro rešenje nije nikad jednostavno... Tako ako nije baš jaki problem, onda nema smisla.

To je puška onak iz kutije oko 85 joula, a moze se izvuc puno više jer ima veliki plenum i može se još povecat u cc. Zato mi je interesantna. Da si barem bliže odnio bih je da je pogledaš i recenziraš. Zanimljiva jeftina puška sa dosta prostora za upgrade. Dobre leti Zan od 44 graina ali sve što je lakše ne valja. Radiš li privatno kakve upgrade i modifikacije da se dogvorimo za cijenu?

Moraš znati i to da svaka ovaka modifikacija za sobom ima i negativnih efekta, tako da često nema smisla jer ako želiš da sve zbilja bude perfektno, moraš i srediti sve te negativne efekte ako je to uopšte moguče... A kad vidiš kolik vremena in novca si potrošio, brzo vidiš da bi bilo jeftinije ako bi kupio puško koja več to ima... Svakako neču reči da sam proti modifikacije ali mislim da je to za čovjeka koji zapravo više voli raditi modifikacije nego pucati, kao ja :)

Can you see yourself making it in 30 cal and 35 Cal. Also a lot of people would like it if you can remove the pellet clip so you can have others preloaded to swap out quickly
Unfortunately it is not possible with this design. Right now, the high pressure air is going through the centre of the magazine so it cannot be removed. if redesigned, the pistol would become big an bulky and that is exactly what was avoided.

If you have no intention of sharing with us the plans or producing them. I have no interest in watching you show something off that you're not going to share with anyone.
I'm an engineer, fabricator and machinist so I'm going to take what I've seen and I'm going to make my own and then I'm going to give the plans out for free.
AEA has a pistol coming out called "The ONE" pistol and they're dragging their feet on that as well.

hi, I also fell in love with that pistol creation, I agree Gregor havent share with us is cnc aluminum blocs or 3d printed files and that's sad, but with the help of is dissasembly videos and a lot of reasearch Ive come up with a simplier idea. I think the best thing to do is reuse the picatiny aloy frame cause it already contains the trigger, the only mechanical thing to do is shorten the cable of the trigger. (as shown on the axonometric view). this frame have to be dremel a bit, pariculary the rear part to slide the main bloc inside, next you need to build a wooden handle of your choice and fix it onto the aloy frame or reuse the original pvc of the gun to make it a handle, and a little frame to protect the trigger. the main design problem is the velocity valve who have to come out somewerhe, Gregor made a wise choice by puting it behind the trigger but reusing the aloy frame for the trigger mecanism will make that part less compact than is, so the valve will be deep inside the handle, hard to acess. An other solution is to put it like 5mm behind the trigger, but maybe it will interfere with the trigger mechanism. My design does not involve drilling in the main bloc but only using the aloy frame to fix the barel, tank, trigger and handle together and cutting trough this aloy frame a bit to fit the receiver bloc.
