We need this in a 308 with a little bit longer barrel, and 2x as much air. Also a larger plenum ect to tune the power. As long as you don’t increase the barrel length very much like 30% and maybe move the whole action back a little farther so you can increase the barrel length without effecting the total length of the gun. Moving the action back might be a little difficult though I think it will be worth it. .308 or .357 with a 24mm barrel would be a beast of a gun

Pink house......I doubt anyone is going question your manhood bro. You just built the best PCP pistol ever.....by far. These companies have whole teams that cant figure out how to get 30fpe pistol.
Did You made tests: maximum effective turn energy knob (at fixed 170bars reg.) vs pellet weight? I think in higher weight, energy knob (power wheel) could be turn out some more :) regards
Question for the pro. I have a 25 V3. Ive seen shot strings with a 25 grain pellet set to around 30 FP shoot a pretty consistent string. First shot around 750, dips to about 725 and then back up to 750 again before tapering down. Average 25 fps spread through 2 mags which is fantastic. Closest i got was 35 fps but only once. Mine will start at 750, dip to 725 and then back up to 750 .. good so far. But then when the needle shows around 150 bar, instead of tapering down it will spike to 780-790 by shot 34 before tapering down. Spread goes from 30 to 60 in the last 6-7 shots (2nd mag) Ive tried various adjustments 30 ft lbs, 35 ft lbs, even lower 20 ft lbs. all does the same. Spikes beyond original (first shot FPS) Messing around, ive adjusted thw power screw 1/8 in at around shot 25. FPS is on the upswing by that point but hasn’t spiked yet. The adjustment lowers a 20 or so FPS but keeps it from spiking beyond 750 fps maintaining that 25-30 ES.
That sound about right. I think all pistols behave like this. The power/velocity curve is the same as if you would set any old unregulated rifle to lower power than it is capable off. The power spike at low pressure is only present with these lower power settings. You have 2 choices here (if your ultimate goal is consistency): keep the power setting and shoot down to only 150 bars (personally I don't recommend going to low with pressure anyway - you can see why in my "safety" video). Or you can increase the power to the power you get in the spike (of course, you will get less shots). In this case, the power will taper off, but I should also mention that taper off will appear at about 150 bars again, so you should still stop shooting at this pressure.
That's awesome that you were able to build your own pistol k1 style!!!!! Can you add a better air cylinder to achieve more shots than the 6 usable ones? Possibly a tank SMALL but more psi into it ??????
Here I have shown exactly what you asked in the comment form K1 :) Extreme power but not many shots. But I can select if I want more shots, I just turn the power down and vice versa. The very point of this pistol for me is that it is actual pistol and that it is not huge. But of course everyone has its own preference. My favorite setting is to shoot 10 shots per fill at 50 joule. That gives it some recoil (more than shooting with .22 LR pistol despite lower energy). It is also very accurate in this setting with .25 ACP slugs (45 grain hollow point). I also like that the magazine is not full, this contributes to safety, I don't want the pistol to have the slug in front of the valve until I ma ready to shoot...
This is a prototype from which HUBEN GK1was born. At the time, I did not know what is the max working pressure of the action as the rifle from which the action was taken had a regulator with max 220 bar pressure. You can check GK1 and its capability where the max working pressure is actually 350 bars...
Hi. Do I have to empty the regulator air to zero and put the gun aside after each use to keep the huben safe? I have a 2020 version of 6.35 caliber that has 2 manometers. Thank you for the answer
I usually shoot at about 48 j (35 fpe), that gives me 10 shots form about 260 bar fill. I can go lower on the power and get more of course but this is my typical setting.
Goddamnit Gregor. You've made our dream weapon....and we've gotta sit here loving it with zero recourse to purchase. Cold Blooded, hahahaha. Take this like and this subscribe...but I wish you'd take this Money
Hello from Chile. It happens that I bought pressure gauges to measure the capacity of the tank, but I can't make a mark of what it really has since the needle is not at zero even though it is not installed in the rifle. What can be ? I have several huben and all the gauges that I buy are the same. I hope someone can help me . regards Francisco
This does not necessarily mean that the gauge is faulty. You should install it and see if the values are correct for the working pressures; for example, it should accurate between 150 and 300 bars with some tolerances. Tolerances of these kind of gauges can be quite big, they are typically in a range of less than 10%... If the gauge is way off in the working pressure area, then you have a faulty gauge.
@@gregorkamensek3923 do you know what sort of barrels are necessary for firing copper plated slugs. Would a aea challenger work with .357 copper slugs? Or would I want to get a new barrel? @@gregmcb5305 Generally, every barrel should be capable to be used with copper plated slugs. Barrels are made out of steel and although the type of steel may vary, they are all much harder than copper (FX barrels may be an exception here, although I am pretty sure they are still much harder than copper). The question is why you would want to use copper plated slugs in an airgun? The reason why copper plated are used for firearms is mainly because of high velocity and problem with lead being too soft. For airgun velocities, lead is perfectly good enough actually even better; for accuracy you need certain tightness between the barrel and the slug and with copper, that would cause significant more friction and with airguns, we have no energy to waste on this... Also, the velocities will not be high enough for the lead to cause problems. So the barrels are not the reason why we do not shoot copper plated slug but rather other reasons... I would not suggest you to use copper plated slugs in the AEA guns. Because of higher friction, it might get stuck in the barrel...

Well, we will see. There are no data on the .25 out yet, but I am fairly confident that Huben will be modest in the specs, they typically give slightly lower figures. I think that the gun will be speced to about 45 fpe with some standard pellet, but will give out more with heavier low friction slugs. Remember that I was just barely able to get 60 fpe with my slugs V2 for K1. This number is about as close you can get in theory with such short barrel if you want more than one shot, I really does not matter how you feel about it, you cannot win an argument with physics (I mean no offence to you) :). When you have a certain limited pressure, it can only create a certain force based on the surface area (caliber) and this force will cause a limited acceleration in limited length of the barrel. We are using about 200 bars, even a round like .25ACP has more than a thousand bars (from WIKI, .25ACP creates 1700 bars). @@omarzolo6689 This is the mold: www.mp-molds.com/product/mp-252-46-hp-pb/
But you should wait because this one if for .25 ACP and is a little bit too small for airgun barrels. Special mold for airgun barrels (same shape) will be available soon...

So basically what you're saying is that I require a 3d printer, a Huben K1 and some old barrel and I can make this myself? Challenge accepted! Now if only I had enough money for that Huben :(
Please if you sell him I will buy you
Sorry, I am not selling them...
For sale???
No.
@@gregorkamensek3923 will you do a build series
😉Now this a pcp pistol non of that awfull looking bulky mess from FX or Evanix ..which are sold as pistols when they are clearly carbine's ..with a missing shoulder stock !!!🤣...do you have any future plans tor maybe selling Custom CNC parts for the huben pistol !!! thats legal right ???🤔
Hi. That was initial idea but there was several problem like: barrel would have to be in the kit (makes it not legal in some countries including Slovenia), not all K1 bodies have the mounting holes that are used for the trigger assemble (not consistent body design is a reason for a lot of problem), the kit would not be cheap and the fact you would have to use a quite expensive rifle to make the conversion would probably be too expensive for majority of people...
你好,请问你在哪个国家?
Slovenia :)
