    cage nuts are commonly used on flight cases also good practice to always start with the bottom two screws on any piece of hardware as that way the weight of thee unit is on the rack as appose to on just two screws

    Thank you for this. I am new to rack gear. I got a dbx knockoff compressor which is quite heavy. May I ask if the four screws at the front are adequate to support the weight of the unit? Or do I need some sort of bracket thingy to support the rear end of the unit?

      4 screws is usually more than enough. You'll have to consult the manual for your rack as they all support different weights. Some support 75lbs, some 1000lbs. I'm not sure what "quiet heavy" means to you. If you mean 20lbs, you're fine. If you mean 160lbs, then you're still probably fine, but I would add a bracket for my own peace of mind.
