    I'm glad you ran out of the sizix double sided card and had to use the double sided tape method. It gave me an opportunity to do this project without having to buy additional materials. Also thanks for making that frame... Smart and saves on materials. Thanks for posting! It's beautiful. Can't wait to try this.

    Its like you Ex-Foliate after applying the flakes..Im a copperhead- so love the autumn colors and copper & espresso colors. HUGE into Embossing- DEF have to try this technique with my Fall Folders.

    I'm a copper girl too for metals, purple for everything else. 😁 This is gorgeous! The stazon just makes it so elegant. I have wished a few times that I'd gotten that stamp set before it retired.

    Fabulous idea embossing the gilded pace. Never would have thought it would work but yours did fine. An added bonus was the “black ice” treatment with Stazon ink on the page. Awesome! Thanks so much for sharing the making of this card with us. Love it and can’t wait to try it.

    The card is beautiful. You need to get a wire brush to use and make it soft and all the flakes are gone. Thanks for sharing

    Your card is stunning Tina!! I've had silver and gold NUVO gilding flakes for at least 3 years...and have never used them. I stumbled upon your tutorial after stumbling upon another crafter who was using them! ☺ You have inspired me to get busy! I love copper as well, but haven't purchased the copper gilding flakes yet. Will have to track some down. I think my local craft store sells them. Happy New Year!! ☺

    I am impressed with your ideas, saving the middle of the card stock, how you use the gilding flakes. I bought some last year, but didn’t really do anything with it. Your Embossing and using ink to make some of the embossing you’re stand out! Thank You! 🧡💗❤️💙

      The downside to gutting the under layer though is if it goes through the post, you often end up with an outline of the cut out area below, showing through the top layer, like it's been embossed.

      because you are in Australia, you have to find a Stampin Up! demonstrator there. When you are on the Stampinup.com website, click on "find a demonstrator" near me and then you can order
