Self-described as combining the emergent storytelling components of RimWorld with a tile-based gas-simulation system seen in Oxygen Not Included - Space Haven is an isometric sci-fi colony builder where your colonists build a spaceship, or a whole fleet of spaceships, and you enslave the galaxy, or become a friendly trader. But let's be reasonable, you enslave the whole galaxy. And you laugh as you do so.
Build a prison spaceship and feed the prisoners only nuts. Haha! Nut boy, nut boy! Chew on those you stinky prisoner.
But genuinely if you like Rimworld, chances are you'll like Space Haven too!

Now this game needs a mod called "save our planet" where you're a ground based colony trying to settle on a rough planet full of savages and pirates.

Maybe adjustable difficulty based on like, 3 or more "presets", with more possibly being added with the use of mods, one being just pure randomness.

Exactly! But build from the ground up with Save our Shipping as the primary mechanic, so it allows for a lot more depth.

Yes it purifies the toilet water to drink just keeping the taste slightly acidic, dont know why....

Water Purifier: An anti-demon measure, converting all liquid into holy matter in an area.
This includes urine, vomit, blood and other such bodily fluids - inside of the body and out.
I'm joking obviously, but I like the series so far. Hopefully Hokus, Mondo and Robodaddy join Fat Larry at some point.

I gotta say, Im enjoying this as apposed to rimworld.
The thing is, No matter what you paint it with, rimworld... stays rimworld. Sometimes the modpacks make it "Easier rimworld" other ones make it "harder rimworld", or some are just "I think this is functioning? Rimworld".
The point is, you build a random settlement, then you randomly get shafted by the game deciding the run's over. I mean, With robodaddy's robot army, you got strong enough to the point you could probably afk for 24 hours and still come back to a functioning base. But you go to the dwarf fortress modpack and you look away for 3 seconds, the runs over. Im not gonna speak for the entire fanbase, but it does grow old after a while. Granted, there are some moments during these playthroughs that are absolutely amazing, but lately (atleast for me) It feels like we're watching 30 minutes of gameplay for 2 minutes of entertainment.
I feel like we found a new channel staple. I really love space games so I’m hope you continue this.

Love how mr sam quickly hovers over SLAVE AREA and doesn't comment on it, only to then reach "build hull" and exclaim "oh no!"

This really feels like a specialized Rimworld mod set, I'd love to see what can happen with it more.
The water purifier is for Fat Larry's waste. Because even in the vacuum of space it is still too hazardous ;)

I have to say, suicidal making surrender a lot less likely is very dark. Because he rather keep fighting for the chance of getting murdered whilst doing so than surrender.
The games look reminds me of old school Xcom, I'm loving it, can't wait for more episodes!
