8 pm is hiker midnight. If you were a thru hiker you might understand. But normally weekend warriors don’t experience it but once you hike many miles day after say bedtime comes earlier and earlier lol especially when hikers wanna be up at crack of dawn to get miles in.
Hey I see this is your latest video, I'm going back to Philmont in 2023 and want to bring a go pro or something. How did you manage your camera (Also what camera did you bring) and make sure it had battery throughout the trip ?
Awesome! GoPros are definitely the way to go, really light and portable. I brought two cameras, a GoPro Hero 8 Black and a Panasonic Lumix FZ-300. Used mini tripods on both of them. I went all out on power storage, so I had 7 GoPro batteries that were charged at the start so I wouldn't have to waste time charging the same battery everyday (definitely recommend investing in the dual-battery charger). I brought two big power banks, one of them was from Anker and the other one was from EasyAcc. I believe both of them had power storage around 26,000 mAh.
@@thomasochs4038 with my dual GoPro battery charger plus charging a battery within the GoPro I could charge 3. Both power banks I carried had 3 USB ports so technically you could charge more if you had more than one dual battery charger
