Thank you for including units and using cross equations. Actually showing how the math works with units makes it so clear. Too many people in the industry have inadequate math skills and its literally basic algebra. I just recieved my ISA Arborist certification and now im studying for my QAL. This is great. I work as A commercial applicator and my superiors won't teach this stuff and if you ask they will simply say nope. I have have had to teach myself nearly everything. The smallness is very frustrating. If anything they'll ridicule you for not already knowing even though most folks don't do these equations often. Taking my exam soon and you explained this so well.
I’m trying to get my license but Iv been working so much Iv not had any free time. First day off in about 3 months so I’m hopefully gona get through this. How did it work for you?
@@excellenceinanimation960 Passed the Core and All three Category exams. I only needed the core and one category but I figured more is better. It comes with an immediate bump in pay so that's awesome. So, I can only speak for Ohio and say that it was relatively simple. I follow a rule of thumb that A professor told me years ago. Read every book three times. Take your lunch break and read A chapter while you eat. Read one more when you get home. Spend A couple of months doing this til you feel confident and you'll be good to go. Core is only only about 12 Chapters and then you have to take A category. Both books together are maybe A few hundred pages tops. Good luck. It's $25 For the application and free to take test so don't worry about it. Even If you study A couple months and fail you can easily reschedule.

I would assume so but I am not in forestry.
