Waiting for mop up is not a good option at your rank... Radio and psychia are very wide choices in terms of rank.... Coz radio will get over at higher ranks and psychia will go till a bit lower ranks... So fill radio choices first and then psychia... If you get radio in any round then it's best... Otherwise you will get psychia in best colleges easily

Look... Scope of "Psychiatry" Is too good... It is increasing day by day... But opt this branch only if you are highly interested in it... Better to work or be there as an observer for atleast 15 days in a psychiatry department... If u feel good then join without hesitating... Yes... There is "state specific" Bond in diploma courses.... Stipend is less in diploma as compared to md/dnb but that too vary among states... Nmc diploma seats are getting converted into md/ms...but doesn't mean that if a student will join the course and then it will get cancelled... No way...

Passing rate of dnb is improving day by day... It's poor in few subjects like pedia, ortho, radio.... In other subjects it's almost 70-80% now... To choose btwn pvt and govt.... If you did diploma from a Institute where there was very nice work load then you can go for a cool Institute for sec dnb where work load is not that much... But quality of work is there
Exam is common for primary dnb and secondary dnb (post diploma) candidates... But yeah post diploma candidates are more experienced and all have already cleared diploma exit exams in past.... So they have slight advantage

If you can try for one more year for neet pg (if this was your first attempt).... Then try to get MD.... this will just save your time... Coz trying one more year and taking MD is 1+3 = 4 years.... Opting DA and then doing secondary dnb is 2+1+2 = 5 years (this is the case when you get seat in first attempt of pdcet and you pass dnb exit exam in first attempt) But point in favour of opting DA at this point is that the neet pg exam can be unpredictable... So safe side is to opt DA if you have tried your best in neet pg and not in a position to prepare for one more year

So your overall duration to get a degree will be of 5 years... (2 yr diploma+ 1 year time for prep and exam of pdcet+ 2 year secondary dnb) Pros of taking diploma now: u will be out of this rat race of pg entrance exam, you will feel secure after obtaining diploma, secondary dnb entrance exam is not that tough Cons: you have to keep patience as you have to do residency twice (diploma and secondary dnb)

Exposure is good in govt and average in pvt... Patient load is good but hands on depends on Institute... Call the working resident at any hospital before opting

@@sabreeeeenk if you have made this mind that you don't have strength to drop... Then u can definitely take diploma... But you have to keep few things in mind...
where do you want to settle? If in periphery... Then diploma is fine... But if in city then there is tough competition now...
If you want to settle in city or interested in academic post at medical college then keep this in mind that you have to secondary dnb after diploma... So your overall duration to get a degree will be of 5 years... (2 yr diploma+ 1 year time for prep and exam of pdcet+ 2 year secondary dnb)
Pros of taking diploma now: u will be out of this rat race of pg entrance exam, you will feel secure after obtaining diploma, secondary dnb entrance exam is not that tough
Cons: you have to keep patience as you have to do residency twice (diploma and secondary dnb)

Nbe diploma radiology you might get in peripheral hospitals.... Better go to such places personally and enquire properly prior to opting
