Awesome truck glad to see a truck looking like that and it isn't a shelf queen.love the sound

Amen Brother. Far from a shelf queen. It does take maintenance. The bearing manufacturers are over confident on saying there bearings are water resistant. Rest assured, I replace all bearings, including transmission yearly. Thanks for checking out my vid.

@@rcstumpjumpers2049 look I just got into crawling a few months ago after a long time away from rc's I've already went through 4 transmissions and 3 axles that's why you need multiple crawlers so you can crawl while you're waiting for parts

Bro, that Blazer is a beast! I'm building one similar to that but it probably won't have a sound kit. Love that engine noise though. 👍

You still like these tires? Are they good at things other than mudding? I mean you looked like you were tryin to get stuck here and could just back right up! 🤣 if they’re this good in loose dirt and on wet wood they’re probably killer tires for use in the woods

    • @rcstumpjumpers2049

Yes sir I still love these tires. It is a toss up between the mudslingers and the super swampers. I will be using the super swamper in any all around environment. I can't stress how important it is to get the right combination of vehicle weight to the foams and rubber compound of the tire itself. These are the 2.2 tires which is overkill , sooo I run a lot of suspension weight.
I also will be using the super swamper when I crawl , on my next build. Presently working on a class 2 for traveling around, to compete with. Good luck with your build.

They are Gear Head 2.2 Slot Mag Aluminum Beadlocks. Heavier than plastic, just saying.

Hey dude, without question Traxxas is the way to go. Nothing but good experiences so far. I love playing with the locking differentials and hi and low ranges. It's just the beginning. Go to their website and check out the crawler options for more info. Thanks for asking, also check out the latest video water and mud , bet it don't get stuck.

I have the blazer and a axial 10.2 deadbolt widened with 2.2 wheels. The deadbolt kills my blazer at everything except the TRX ESC is more waterproof. The TRX bodies are to heavy for any type of hard crawling without tipping. My deadbolt's walks right up and the battery is more forward on the axial.

@@tmar352 Thats great ! I love other opinions and other people's confidence in their RC. That's what makes for good competition. What a great sport this is! ..... I would like to say that the 1 inch lift kit gave the Blazer more suspension travel which has greatly improved climbing even though it's a bit taller. Being able to unlock axles, climbing and turning is also a huge advantage in my opinion. I have ruined my bearings playing in the water so much, but it made some good videos that are in need of editing. I am now in the process of doing a COMPLETE axle , differentials, transmission and engine rebuild. This will take some time and I may get another RC to play with in the meantime. We'll see.
