I started driving a school bus at 18 for my school district and I loved every minute of it. 5 years passed and I had to say goodbye, but the memories are always there 😊
@@YamiMillennium these kids are terrible. They’re disrespectful, disruptive and have no regard for any authority figure. They vandalize buses yet nothing is done to them. Parents also are rude and think that the bus is a right. It’s a privilege. I kicked off many problematic kids and I was fine doing so.
I am not joking at all my best friend is 18 and that is the new legal limit for Ohio and he is now the youngest bus driver in the state of Ohio and the USA and he also got the award because he passed it on the first try
Yep, there are tons of departments with college kids driving a bus to work through college. I did it, and I train folks in their early 20s all the time.
There is a shortage of bus drivers, it’s not often you meet 21 year olds driving a bus. Plus, it gives ideas to others and hopefully will get more people into to relieve the shortage.

Just because the minimum age of a position exists doesn’t mean it’s a common thing.
