- Even though, I'm french, this was my first time ever in Chatel! I only stayed a day but will be back.
That video was not planned to come out, but I assume people may want to see some of the trails of Chatel. I will be back hopefully next year to ride more and do a proper video.
To guide me down the trails: Scotty Laughland (@scottylaughland). Scotty has been riding Chatel for a number of years and knows well all the trails around as well as the different resorts that connect to Chatel.

I had not planned to have this video out as the quality was not good enough but I thought I would show you what I rode that day anyways.
Rémy Métailler thanks
Hope you had fun!
First - you are one hell of a rider. But everyone knows that. What’s impressive is how easy going and nice you are when others are parked in the MIDDLE OF THE TRAIL instead of being courteously off to the side. I could learn much from you in both instances :)
Man !
What a great rider !
And a True Gentleman💪🏼
I am new to your channel.. and can’t wait to watch more of your stuff
Thanks! Plenty more coming!
That's some green trail! Heading there next year and can't wait. Place looks amazing and perfect spot for a MTB vacation!
Great to see Scotty ride with you! Did y'all ever hit your brakes?
Cet accent anglais toujours aussi incroyable 😂
Epic video bro, nice skills 😎🙌🏼 💪🏼🤠
This makes me miss Bike Park season soooooo bad!
incredible riding, awesome skills and the bike park looks amazing
Props to the CX guy! Quite funny to see
Nice Remy, shredding in my favourite bikepark
Wicked vid dude...you make it look so easy

Brilliant vid 👍 defo go back and do more 😎 also bike park deux Alps near briancon 😉 diabolo trail 🤘
I forgot they speak French in France...good one!!
Super vidéo et Châtel une station géniale ! ✅
Like si tu es Français 😈
Sick man 🤟🤟
Air Voltage looks insane, you made it look a piece of piss!! Awesome riding dude, nuff god dam respect ✊
Meme en France tu parle anglais🤣🤦♂️
C un traître 🤣🤣
@@thomas.f6501 ahaha
I was wondering the same. Are most of the tourists foreign there?
Willing to bet there were at least three different groups of riders who saw you do blast those features and got the courage to go for the feature they were trying to do.
Remy, you are a saint. People, when you stop, get off the trail. Depending on where you stop, it may or may not be a safety issue, but it's definitely bad form to park in the trail you just rode down. Also, that's a green? Let's get more of those greens!
Superbe !!
Sweet Jesus the French really love loitering on the trail
Woow nice tracks! When you caming in Montenegro ? For you free acomodation and very nice trails! Welcome man! 😎
ahhhmmmm, SICK! So smooth, makes it look easy!
Faut vraiment que tu fasse des vidéos en français 🙏
I love Châtelet Bike parks
2:55 proper trail/bike park etiquette completely absent there... Jeez..
You sure you don't have wings, Rémy? 😂
Wherever I ride I encounter that exact situation.
@@rualert1602, the scariest thing for me. Scarier than falling off a 10 ft drop on a wrong turn... 😂 I mean I was the only one who could've gotten hurt but to hit and hurt another rider... Jeez...
please give us a vid from Morgins and Morzine ,that would be sooo great
Next year hopefully!
Hey Remy sick tracks also just as a quick question when did you start riding?
I started when I was around 15 I believe. Rode more seriously when I was 20.
Ok thanks
2:16 clean pass haha
god i love france
nice
Nice! The park looks like its rough condition tho! Blow out turns and lots of loose stones. Pitty!
Lots of traffic...
@@remymetailler Yeah, but still :(
I’ll just catch up real quick. Lol
What song was that at 0:30? Shazam doesn't seem to know
The first track looks so amateur friendly, it makes me want to try it so bad
Jumps and drops are so much bigger in real life!
You lads made it so breazy - easy and a breeze to watch = breazy #inspirations #dreams #willkeepondreaming
ANOTHER DOBLE XD
bike gang.... have you heard
2:55 Dudes standing in the middle of the intersection, CC "Nice, have a good night". LOL
It's a have a good day
Like los que hablan español français and english
єlเáภ i do
"forgot that people speak French in France" LMAOOO
@2:55 I was screaming on my screen "Get out of the way!" 😆
Are you riding clipless here Remy? Or was he riding clipless?
Hey thats my truck!
The Frenchman in France passes hikers and says “hey how are you?”
What would you say Vink Line vs A-Line?
Vink is much more advance and more challenging!
@@remymetailler ok. And when it comes to fun?
Big french
2:03 hahahahahahahahahahaha
Am i the only one who noticed that the left part of the big cliff @00:31 looks like Squidward's house?
La vink line c'est une rouge? Pas a moi quand même
Oui c'est une rouge...
@@remymetailler elle a l'air super engagée pour une rouge quand même. C'est peu être parce qu'on peut éviter des sauts
Quem ver isso em 2020 da um like
Oublie chatel viens à Morgins ! C est juste à côté
Pourquoi tu parles en anglais au gars que tu croise, t'es dans ton pays d'origine je te rappelle
What's with all these idiots stopped in the middle of the trails? Even the trail maintenance guy with no caution sign? I've never seen anything like it.
To be honest, any MTBer should be in control of their bike and speed. These are very hard trails, and require people to stop on the side and have a look. Myself stop on the side and look at some of the features all the time. Safety can always be improved, but nothing in that video was insanely dangerous.
L’accent est a améliorer sinon belle vidéo
