    First off, I just want to say I so, so appreciate your channel, the content you post, and YOU! You've made the world of code so much more accessible, and I'm so grateful to you for doing that.
    If you could make a deeper video about machine learning and/or data scientist (not sure if that's one video or two), I'd love to learn more about both!

      Yay!! I'm so glad!

    • @christianlevels3049
      @christianlevels3049 4 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      A basic example would be a back end engineer writes code that runs on one machine. The dev ops team then takes that code runs it spawns it on many machines in "the cloud" (Amazon web services). All these machines are basically copies of the original code but now you have to deal with new issues like how do we choose which machine a user hits or how do we keep our Amazon computing costs down.

    Great video! I am a huge fan of the channel. It may be considered a subcategory of a data scientist, but data engineers play an important role. They are usually in charge of gathering the data and organizing it into the databases. For those interested in learning more about the data science and machine learning roles, I have a few videos related to that on my channel. Again, I am loving the content!

      They also have satelite campuses around the country/canada. I haven't started the program yet but from what i've heard from people it's a really challenging but worthwhile experience and program and you get an MSCS in the end. I'm really excited to start in september!

    Damn, last time I saw The Come Up she was at 40k subs! Well done! I only wish my TH-cam channel would grow as fast. I've noticed a huge driving factor is when Women are in tech (which is fantastic) they can also get subscribers so much faster lol

      That but also underrepresented minorities in tech. It is very inspiring because most underrepresented minorities are intimidated by tech because of the lack of diversity. Its mainly a male, white and asian profession.

    Thank you for making this video Bukola! I'm binging your videos today haha. It would be really insightful to hear your thoughts on how to know which role suits you best. I see it too much like food, I think, where I know the ingredients to each role but I worry about which dish would suit me best!

    Thanks for this overview. I'd love to see a more in depth video on each role as well. It'd help to know what to expect.
    Thanks!!

    This is great! I’ve been doing tutorials in each to get a feel. Could you please go more into full stack and how that works for one person? And into more detail on the day to day, which types of ppl gravitate to each, etc?

    usually data scientist solve the problem ( with use or without mahcine learning), ML engineer's otherhand are actively involved in creating and deploying of the machine learning models. As you mentioned there are lots of thing that overlapps.

    DevOps is a more open field to get started in and could lead to some cool architecture/infrastructure jobs down the line. It's a topic less likely to be followed new grads compared to the high amounts of web devs or data scientists.
    Love your videos, always nice to see strong women in tech. I hope you inspire others; great attitude, great smile.✌️
