Hi Mason. Thanks for this video. This is really an overwhelming situation. Thanks to Voyce-Equiti that helped me to understand deeply what "insecurity" means...
The thing is it has been with them very tiring because it started to be call center for a long time now bk to bk calls everyday , they started to care about the quantity not the quality anymore , I have not got someone monitoring my calls for months now.
They have hundreds of interpreters in Latin America which they pay 6$ so reducing more costs? I don’t think so, however they still have the high volume calls so they will need the interpreters, hopefully all interpreters could get a different contract with an Equity partner but of course they will not take into consideration interpreters with low QA scores, not complying with schedules etc
Hi, thank you for making this video. I m a Canadian interpreter working with Voyce. Feeling anxious about how the future unfolds. I used to work for Kelly Services (for LLS). Don't want to go back to the same sh*t where interpreters are being treated like souless robots.
I thought that i finally found a good company to work for many years, oh well, i least i still got propio, otherwise i'd had nothing, barely have any familia left to feed me
Thank you for your videos. I've got a question though. Maybe I don't understand something, but if they are firing everyone, who's currently doing the job? I haven't received a termination letter yet, doesn't mean I won't so it worries me. But if there are so many fired Interpreters and a call volume is the same, how is the work being done in the meantime?
Hello there! Thanks for the comment and that's a great question. Of course, I wouldn't know every detail, but my guess is that they have other LSPs that will take their calls. I have more detailed explanation in my latest video: "3 Red Flags in LSPs You Must Avoid!". I hope this helps!
Not even all of us got the mail, i haven't gotten the termination email😢 but after the mass termination i dont trust that im not gonna be fired, i already applied to other companies
@@alumort6344 I have been told by some Voyce interpreters that they also didn’t receive emails or received a day or two after . Either way, yes I think that would be best for you! Thanks for the sharing this!
And this happened just before Christmas, just damn cruel and heartbreaking for all terps.
Sending all my love to all colleagues affected
Thank you Mason, we were waiting for this video. This will get worse and worse, the best decision is to leave Voyce.
What a terrible decision they made, they are causing their own downfall

@@hadeerabdelsattar4128 It sounds like that’s what many other interpreters also experienced… hopefully something better comes along next year!

Definitely a big relief to have another source of income when something like this happens! I hope you find some more!

@@jeraldmorales3882 what do you mean?? can you elaborate?
@@jeraldmorales3882 oh really? I thought propio was good??

and for everyone in LATAM, we all know the BPO will take over half the rate for them and pay cents on a dollar for the interpreter.
