I agree but often enough those who come second often become more successful than the winner, and travel further, look at Susan Boyle she came second and made a huge name for herself become more sussesfull these girls will do the same
Agreed. but when all is said and done no matter how great they are they are just a one trick pony/ I listen to them all the time. in the last stages of Got Talent the winner is always those that can expand their talent to the widest audience.
Love the Darlings they are keeping songs alive that would otherwise be forgotten and they remind me of my grandparents and going on trips with them xxx
They need to do a world tour even though we're under social distancing they can still sing on stage I love every one of them in the group they are amazing my grandfather would have loved them he was a VET so is a lot of my family members we love you and support you God bless you ladies ❤️😇❤️😇❤️😇❤️😇❤️😇❤️😇❤️😇
Disappointed that the public didnt vote the D Day Darlings to win Britains Got Talent this year. Saw the show and loved their performance of Dame Vera Lynne's We'll Meet Again in the finals. Excellent group providing such nostalgia. through
Hi Brenda, the wife and I were disappointed too. We were at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre on that day in March when they videoed the girls singing under the Lancaster. It took the video crew several hours, but only used about 20 seconds of video on the final show. Thanks for your comments and watching.
@@nevillewheeldon1693 2 years on and just as famous now as if they had won it; so I guess that's justice. The best part is unlike many pop stars they sound as good live as not.
Grew up with parents who loved this music and would loved to dance in front of their kids. Dad join Army Air corps in 1946 only 17 his son served at a RAF base.
I love to hear them do all the '40s songs and their versions of the WWII songs. But there are only so many celebrations I guess where they use the entire troupe of 9 ladies that appeared on Britain's Got Talent. Whether there are 9 of them, 7 or 3, they have enormous talent and it shows in all their performances. I don't know if anyone noticed but they have hairdos, dresses, shoes and lipstick of the 1940s. All that's missing is the padded shoulders. They certainly look like they stepped out of a 1940s film.
Hi, Neville. I'm Corey, and I just subscribed to your, while I'm listening to the D-day darlings. I ' m a grand son of 2 world war 2 veterans. And, I'm also involved with a world war 2 living history group as well. I portray a member of the 1st Canadian parachute Battlion, my ww2 living history group has an event this week end. I would love to see these ladies perform in person. And if I ever do see them perform live, I'm going to put my uniform and go to their concert. Is there a slim chance they'll be coming to Canada for a show in the near future? Corey. Corey Hansen from Canada.
Hi Corey ,thanks for subscribing, the girls visit East Kirkby once a year at the air show ,they are great band. The best way to find out what there programme is on the internet www.
