3rd Gen 4Runners Off Road Adventure // Stave Lake & Cypress Point

- In this video me and my nephew take out 3rd gens 4runners down the Sylvester rd area by Stave Lake. We spent some time adventuring around and then head down to cypress point for lunch. Along the way we encounter some fun 4x4 trails, deep water holes and some fun water crossings. In the end we stop at a beautiful spot for lunch.

Man, I miss wheelin down south. The Sylvester side of Stave is beautiful. The one thing I really miss about living in the lower mainland. Great video!! Made me feel home.

I have a 2019 4Runner TRD Off Road that is my offroad adventure rig!
My 4Runner is my forever rig! I use my 4Runner as my offroad, rock crawling, remote adventure car camper lol. It takes all the punishment and never breaks!
I'm in a 4Runner owners club and we have several annual events, meets and adventures! A lot of members have stunning 3rd gens that are extremely capable, with nothing but a good set of tires and the factory rear diff lock! I always love seeing them!

what lift are on those and do you have locker,s i put wheeler,s t1 coils an tundra front shock,s ome 891 coils in rear an long travel bilsteins ride,s better than i thought it would. sonoran steel trac bar added also. Got it from original owner 126879 miles excellent shape. This is my 4th 4runner love them also have 2017 offroad. That,s great scenery you are wheeling keep it up.

Thanks for showing the name of the locations. The local selfish, "know it all" losers, some of who are v bloggers with jeep gladiators, must hate you, taking away their secrecy and God status.
A lot of those places are not easy to find, even if you know the name of where your going. There are no road signs and that area has an incredibly vast network of logging roads. Unless you actually know where you are going, good luck finding it.
@marcuswernicke9018 , don't worry about that. I know all the arguments from the other philosophers to justify their selfishness. Name is all is needed. There are offroad maps, satellite images and all sorts of other information to help if you just have a small hint like the name. So, thank for your useless comment.

How many miles are you at on those 4runner? I just bought a 2000 limited wondering how many miles have all your ran
The red one is exactly the same as my vehicle. The grey side trim running below the doors has a couple of large metal brackets under there that were totally rusted away when I took the trim off. When I say totally, I mean that nothing but a pile of rust particles came out on the driver side. More intact on the passenger side. The trim also hides other body rust, particularly on the rocker panel just below the leading edge of the front door. Do yourself a favor and take the panels off and inspect. (it is a little tricky)
I'll ha e to check it out. Mines reasonably clean. I had the front and rear trims off and underneath was good. Well see about the other one though.

I have the opportunity to trade my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee to a 98 Toyota 4Runner tomorrow and praying it’s not rusted out underneath. Body looks great but I know the owner personally and I know he’s took it some bad places but so will I if I get it. Always wanted one all my life and tomorrow I may be the owner of my first one. As long as it’s not rusted underneath
When I think of wheeling this is the ideal trail that comes to mind. What state is this located in?
