I don't think so, but then that song originally by HITA was not as lore went, describing actual event, only a "story" based on events of that time. Still, I love it, together with its patriotic, gufeng, and Chinese opera notes. This interpretation is a worthy try, if indeed imperfect for rhythm.
I'd add I also love that interpretation of Chi Ling by Indonesian Bodokun who likes to try singing Chinese opera snippets and Chinese opera inspired game music : th-cam.com/video/Dn5KS5OfGLg/w-d-xo.html
