@@quetoi3419 do you support the corrupt authoritarian Trudeau regime, the worst thing to ever happen to Canada?
Right and American supports America made products.
Quit drinking long ago...and despite harder times, these tarrifs increase my resolve to never touch another bottle.
Is it me or areTrump's tariffs goingto help the Government finally focus on Canadian manufacturing , Canadian tech, and selling our resources to other countries besides the states?
I hope so ..... but I will predict THAT won't happen. Our politicians have sold us all out a long time ago.
If they cared about Canadians they would start by REINSTATION the Bank of Canada to its pre 1973 status.
Then end PRIVATE Banks and bring our banking back under control of Canada for the benefit of Canadians.
Just my humble opinion. 🤪
One of the less-circulated parts of Trudeau’s speech was actually my favourite, where he said that the federal and provincial governments will also be working to make trade within the country easier and cheaper.
Often the Canadian option isn’t as accessible as buying from the states, and that needs to change! There should be fewer trade barriers WITHIN Canada’s borders than between us and states, period.
Yes actually. Self-Reliance .
If you look back over the past 40yrs, that is exactly what happens when a republican president is in office. They stab us in the back, we whine and say we need to be more diverse with our trading bla bla bla.
Probably it will make our leaders become more aware of the true Canadian power!
Canada needs to invest in greenhouses and hydroponics. Canada has the space, the water, the energy to make it viable and provide groceries during the winter months
Obviously you've never been to Redcliff Alberta. It's called The Greenhouse Capital of the Prairies with very expansive greenhouses and more going up. Take a look from Google Earth.
Yes!
Greenhouses generate much more emissions due to their high energy cost. It's actually worse for the environment.
Apparently you have never been to Leamington Ontario.

I am sure all countries can come together and not buy American products.
Lol
well USA takes our oil lumber electricity for almost free. we should stop all that first
This is why Carney is a better candidate then Poilivere. The international economic community respects Carney and Carney has contacts from heads of states from all over the world. so far 5 provinces confirm removing American liquor ; ONTARIO, British Columbia ,Manitoba, Quebec ,Nova Scotia
So dumb .
Hold strong Canada
We live under the corrupt authoritarian Trudeau regime , the worst thing to ever happen to Canada
We need to take our great resources and manufacture our own products instead of sending things out of country to be made
I agree with you! It should have never got this bad with being so dependent on other Countries. But Canada needs a new leader for sure! That right there will be a game changer for Canada!
dig in Manitoba. BC stands with you all the way. well said Wab
Way to go Msnitoba from NS.
Absolutely no reason to buy american liquor. Canadian liquor tastes way better and is cheaper.
Because of this Wab, can you please stop allowing 12,000 new comers into mb every six months ?

finally send back all american ambassadors back to US. Dont need them to spy us
Good for Manitoba, Ontario and BC. So far all 3 Premieres are taking US liquirs off the shelf Tuesday.
add Quebec and nova scotia to that list, keep it growing.
How about getting rid of the carbon taxes & standing up for Canadian as well
Stop with maple maga mantra. The carbon tax is 1 third of 1% of the inflation. Secondly the rebates Canadians get are higher that the carbon tax. But I agree, the individuals shoulde pay it. The polluters should
Sending love and praise to my brothers in Manitoba, from my home in Ontario. I look forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with you as we brave this threat by the traitors down south.
I'm going to enjoy sitting back and watching this with a cup of hot tea in hand from here in Ottawa.
The group home that I live in have all collectively decided to stop buying American products.

I ll never buy american goods anymore.😡
I won't say "never", but I will say "never while Trump is in office"
We can survive without your Canadian Dollar lol , and it took your BLACKFACE president just only one day to schedule a meeting with Trump so clearly y’all don’t have any leverage. 😂

Isn't all that liquor on the shelves already paid for? Stopping future imports would be more effective, in my opinion
Awesome. Now, let's dig the border so deep and wide that we will see it from space. That would be The Statement.
That would probably suit Trump just fine, and Canada should have done so years ago..
All American products should be banned from sale in canada unfortunately.
Well we all drive foreign cars than...it is what it is...
all american citezin to be banned as well

@@Coolcat3 After a decades of significant trade imbalances with Canada, USA taxpayer have had enough. Many Canadian markets are closed to US products and services. Finance, Banking, Telecom, agriculture are government controlled monopolies. The US has asked nicely for years to have access and improve the balance. At every turn they were rebuffed. This was not free or fair trade. Thinking this ongoing permanent trade deficit was sustainable was incorrect.
Braindead liberal cultists doom us all
All provinces must do the same ! Buy Canadian and invest in Canada !
Stop relying on the Americans to buy our oil . We need a pipeline going from Fort McMurray to the east coast so we can get our oil to other markets . If Quebec won’t allow us to run a pipeline through their province then no more equalization payments to Quebec .
We need giant greenhouses. Not just for this tariff war but for people who live in the north.
This fight includes China being able to land fentanyl ingredients in British Columbia and allow foreign interference in our country
Oh please. We’ll just drive to grand forks more often. Manitoba will look like Russia, nothing on the shelves anymore.
Fool. Have you been to Russia.
They still continue to lie to you.
Are you serious? Russia grows their own food. Keep watching Globalist Propaganda.
Dont worry the mb liquor commission is a rip off joke already
Mr. Man Bun doesn't realize that nobody lives in his province and Manitoba is literally unlivable
Ironically, tRump's bad behaviour is going to make Canada stronger. Let's get to it. Buy Canadian is my immediate priority so lots of label reading and bye bye Amazon.

That's three so far, Ontario, B.C. and now Manitoba, keep the ball rolling. I am an Albertan and expect Smith will drag her heels on this one.
you can add Quebec and nova scotia to the list now.
Albertan as well, really dislike how Daniel Smith handled this whole thing but unfortunately, I think you're right, she's going to do f**k all
She isnt the brightest bulb, but i imagine she will catch on sooner or later.
Canada needs to invest and grow logistics so that we can trade overseas.
If Manitoba liquor has ALREADY bought the bottles, then they should sell them until they are sold out. Then don't order anymore from the USA.
Where in the video did they say they weren’t going to sell the bottles already purchased?
Who will buy it?
They will
Hello @@jayc5373. "puts stop to sale of american liquor" starting tuesday.

Molson's is owned by (in 'partnership with') Coors. Labatt's is owned by a Belgian company that also owns Budwiser.
There are, of course dozens of small 100% Canadian breweries that have always deserved our support. Time to buy some Farmery, Fort Garry, Half Pints... there's about 30? Just here in Manitoba. One winery too!
Carbon Tax has the exact same affect as a Tariff. We were already doing it to ourselves, now it's just worse. Manitoba is full of a bunch of drunks but I don't think Wobbly Canoe's plan here is going to make a difference.
Priceless 😂😂

Trump needs to be specific about Chinese fentanyl makers in Canada. If he did, Canadians would be on his side. We already hate Trudeau. We'd love another reason to hate Trudeau. Trump should share more of the intelligence info around the Chinese criminality in Canada.
I absolutely agree
Awesome … greetings from BC 🇨🇦
Lol yes lets take products off the shelves that provide tax income for the province. Good idea smh...
What Canada needs to do, add an additional 25% export fee on our exports of oil and electricity. They want to tax themselves, fine, but lets help them by adding even more costs to their woes. The revenue gained from that 25% export fee should be used to make oil pipeline to our east and west coast and shipping ports so we can easily trade with other countries around the world. We also need to build more of our own refineries. It makes no sense to ship our oil to the U.S, have them refine it and charge us 10x more than what they paid. It is time for Canada to become a major economic world player. We rely too much on exports to the U.S. They have proven to be unreliable trading partners for too long now. We don't need the U.S. Enough is enough, let the U.S rot for all I care.
I wonder what would happen to all the cities in Canada that are supported by the US auto manufacturers, I'm sure Americans would like to have some of those jobs back. You do realize we have a lot of resources as well.
Dont buy american good idea but you realize some of the products are manufactured in canada factories will be shut down putting Canadians out of work so go for it
@@mudkickerfiftyone3430 Stellantis is already setting up shop in the USA again to produce 2 new Jeep models. With the USA about to drop corporate tax to 14% could see manufactures leaving Canada to go south.
@@mudkickerfiftyone3430 What, you think you can just build a bunch of new plants that produce all the parts shipped from Canada? FYI, Canada didnt take any jobs from the U.S. Our economies have been interconnected for many decades now, since WW2. You would need to build the chemical plants to supply that plastic plants that supply the parts to the plants that build the parts that goes into the cars. It's not like there is a switch you can turn on or off. If the U.S had those plants, you would be making your own parts. Contracts come and go in manufacturing. Companies adapt and find other business trading partners. Those companies that build auto parts in Canada and shipped to the U.S can still make other parts for other companies. For decades now, Canada and the U.S have had protectionist policies against foreign cars. We dont build cars from China, and we put very high tariffs on their cars. People in Canada and the U.S dont own cars from China, because we have been protecting the Canadian/American car industry. If push comes to shove, Canada can welcome China to build and sell cars and truck in Canada, without tariffs. Just think what would happen to your cities if Canada stopped buy cars and trucks made in the U.S? The door swings both ways and Canada has way more options.
@zzzubmno2755 Yes, it works both ways for the US and Canada. Canada is free to cut ties with America and embrace China. I'm sure it will be an excellent partnership. I'm not a fan of the tariffs, I'm not rich, but why does the Canadian government feel so entitled as to not pay the recommended 2% for defense? Obviously, the northern border is almost impossible to protect, but maybe if the Canadian government would at least show some effort and not just plan and promise border protection for the future, send some troops or something to the border, Trump likes a show and some form of action, not just words. In the end, we all suffer except for the politicians and the rich. If avocados are 5k, a piece rich people have 5k guacamole, and we have none.
YES. This is an Opportunity. The #1 priority should be streamlining the process. Cut back on bureaucracy. Make it happen. Mine baby Mine.

You can try demonize Canada and Mexico but this was an unprovoked attack based on made up Trump BS
Maybe this will teach countries to be more accountable for themselves and make as much of their own products as they can and less from other countries. I think all of the countries including the US has depended too much on other countries for very important things. This is a good time to make it happen. Manitoba should make their own liquor. That's some serious little man syndrome there.
Canada is one of the few nations in the world that could become a true resource autarky. We only need to export for financial reasons, aside from the seasonality of some crops we can produce almost anything by ourselves
We don’t refine our crude here in Canada or manufacture much - too costly . We opened our doors to American corps and Cheap goods from China . Hard to change on a whim unless we have investors and at this low gdp . High taxes, tariffs and carbon tax. Why invest here at all ! The big corps will leave . Careful what you wish for. All we needed is secure our borders and have a plan to contribute to Army not WEF and UN .

@@Mary-d7h7qcommonsense yup the easy road is the road to American slavery. I do agree with much that you say. The Japanese and Germans came begging for our energy.
