I personally love the design of this dragon. Actually, it's probably my favourite of any dragon I've ever seen in movies or TV shows. Shame there's no sequel or anything (with the dragon of course).
Idk why but Dragons having an old wise British accent is so fitting.

I always knew Richard E Grant would voice a dragon someday since I saw him in Spice World! He just had this fire in his voice that made him a perfect candidate!
Kind of reminds me of when John Hurt played the voice of the dragon from Merlin

That's a rad dragon. Reminds me of the Jabberwocky from Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland," for some reason.
I didn't know this got made into a movie. Time to watch it and see if the series ever finished.

This movie almost cost me the despite of my wife!!
I read the book, it was awesome, so I convinced my wife to watch the movie together...
Inmediatelly I noticed HUGE plotholes and missing things (ALL the characters seems to have mixed in a blender without the lid, and whatever the blender spit it's what they chosed for the character) For instance... The Quarkbeast replaced with a lousy dog?!!! Also, NO mention of the beetle car, NO mention of Jennifer being a "berserker who can control her temper", NO mention of the magic needing a reset?? Adding the Great Zambinni despite the fact in the book he was missing all the time and had no role here?!. The movie itself generates it's own spoilers (Jennifer discovering that dragons can't go out way, WAY before she was supposed to discover it) and own plotholes (in the movie there was a dragon skeleton on the dragonslayer house... HOW and WHY???) No mention of the other wizard who tried to slay dragons and failed misserably... Maltcassion in the movie looks like an asshole, in the book he was deepthly smart and charismatic... The movie (even for those who didn't read the book at all) SUCKS!! ( and I could go on with ALOT of things!! Like, only a handful of townsfolk at the edge of the dragonlands instead of the MILLIONS waiting to get a portion of those, also, Artcon being a shandar company?? Just WTF!! Artcon did cheated but this connection?? HUH?!)
Now my wife doesn't wants to watch any movies with me thanks to this crap...
There was only TWO things I liked about this movie. First are these scenes, CGI maltcassion its quite impressive and I enjoyed it (but NOT his movie personality) the other one was the acting of King snodd (and his obsesion to throw cocconuts to the head of those who bothered him... That wasn't in the movies but heck, I laught and enjoyed that!!)

Never seen this movie but it's sad by watching this video
The movie is a cheap piece of garbage, these are almost all dragon scenes from it. And from what I remember, the dragon is the only thing worth watching in the movie, the rest of it is just... meh.

The dragon actually wanted the girl to kill it, because in that setting, dragons reproduce by dying in battle. I mentioned that this video contained almost all the dragon scenes from the movie. Almost. When the girl kills the dragon, it splits into two younger dragons. And when one of these gets killed by a cannon few minutes later, it immediately splits into other two dragons. One character in the movie even mentioned earlier that in the past, the more humans were killing dragons, the more dragons prospered.

In my opinion, he had to die in combat and that is why he did not tell the slayer that it was to break the dragon treaty and that there would be more and free dragons.

You start watching some of the Hobbits short clips and out of nowhere random garbage starts being recommended to you. Is a bit ignorant of me to say this not having watched the movie but Jesus at least cast someone who can fool you into believing that they are or could be a dragon slayer, and that dragon is just.......not a dragon.
