- I use Windows 98 SE in the current year.

I haven't looked back at this video in a long time, and I forgot what Windows 98 looked like in 16 colors! I have long since gotten and ATI Rage Pro Turbo and the proper drivers for it, so that is no longer an issue.
The very first operating system I was exposed to. Miss those days of wonder.

Years ago, my grandmother had a Windows 98 PC. I don't remember what the PC brand was I think it was a Compaq. Also had the underwater theme on it. But it was very slow because she knew nothing about upgrading the RAM at the time.
I think you miss the video drivers.... Looks like 16 colors
It was 16 colors, I think i typed something in notepad during the video that said that, but recently I got an ATI Rage Pro Turbo, so that fixed that issue.
27:00 I found where I typed in Notepad about how I didn't have the proper graphics drivers installed.

I do the same thing whenever I have Canyon.mid playing on my Windows 95 PC, though I don't have pinball on there unfortunately! I would just have the desktop opened up and I just press on the arrow keys to the beat!
Cool! Canyon.mid is one of my favorites, along with Passport.mid and Hall of the Mountain King.rmi.
@@nostalgiachase Passport.mid and Hall of the Mountain King.rmi are my favorites too!! I also love Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.rmi and Bradenburg Concerto no.3.rmi as well!! I play all of those MIDIs while playing Tetris or whatever on my machine!
Let me explain what it's like... It's still a royal pain in the ass, just like it was in 1999. I've had better luck emulating DOS based games with my main PC, or just playing updated versions of the classics than even using real hardware. It took me 2 days just to get PowerSlave to stop crashing in the first area of the game, and Blood still crashes on certain actions as well (or after about 10-15 minutes.) Full Tilt works great though.
It was pretty difficult to get all of the drivers working, plus I had to get a graphics card so I could have more than 16 colors. Also, I've never heard of PowerSlave, Blood, or Full Tilt. If those games are any good, I might buy them and try them out. I still can't get the Ethernet card drivers working, although I don't even have any Ethernet ports near the computer anyway.

It’s not beta, but since I didn’t have a graphics card yet in this video, I could only use the computer at 640 x 480 in 16 colors.

I just used a random collection of MIDIs I found online. Some of the MIDIs I used were already a part of Windows 98, and some that I played can be found in Windows 10.
