I only wish they had port for diesel heaters , and maybe ports vents on the canopy. Other wise I want to place an order soon. I love the updates they made
A solution to that is some guys have a STL file on the GFC Forum that you can print a vent Port to install. Obviously not a perfect solution but definitely a good one.
Great video, you need to look at the Super Pacific. In my opinion is a better option. I'm 6'3" and camp with family so having the extra length and not having to replace the cushions in order to sleep is a game changer. When me my son and nephew camp in the winter they sleep in the bed and I sleep up top. I run the heater in the bed and I stay warm up top. The mattress they use is the X-Pad and its amazing. GFC should do a V2 Pro XL add 16" to the sleeping area so no need to pull panels to climb down in the bed of the truck. Other than that the changes that GFC made are spot on.
I have the Alu cab canopy camper. Just so versatile. Maybe a video on that. Good video , keep up the good work.
I like everything about the All Cab other than I loose my tailgate. I really like my built in steep and cameras.
Nice job Casey. Your tech videos have come a long way.
Just a quick note, the 2024 Alu-Cab first 3 in 1 transformer. The Family is the first non traditional wedge style more like a RTT opening east to west. You can buy a cap or just the tent or you can mix and match wedge or Family. Plus have opening windows on the lower. Very cool product we did a video tour with Tim from OK4WD (importer)
As for the GFC we love it! I wasn't a fan of the Trans-Form-A-Floor. I sure do now. It's nice to be able to move them around and also keep the upper section closed from bugs and keep the heat in during winter.
Great video update! Thank you.

Still love my alucab but more competition never hurts. Great video as always Casey
They need to revise the braces to open up the sides a little more. They are the only ones going to place a truck on top so I think it’s safe to say the typical user can get by with a little less structural support.
good idea .best of both camper topper and roof top tent ,just wish there where more 6''pick up boxs on mid size utes .... like less cab and more box , tacoma.access cabs are impossible to find , Nissan frontier still offers a king cab in their 4x4 utes
Nice improvements - awesome that they are listening to customer feedback.
However, I still think there are better options for 2 people due to the design of the bed platform. The flip-up style where you can crawl off the end without having to undo the mattress is more convenient for those middle of the night excursions.
I love the Harker Outdoors EDC Canopy Camper; annexing the tailgate is an awesome idea on pickups with short beds. .
True. But with the harker you gotta take the door off then hang it on the side.
@@pingpongballz5998 yes, but then you always have a table with you. You also don’t have to crawl into the truck bed to avoid the cross member either.
There is no wrong answer; it’s just about which one works the best for you.
I know you are in Canada but Dirtbox Overland out of Colorado is absolutely amazing. Their history with building Unimog Expedition vehicles really shows in their design and construction
I'm not sure if you're aware, but the Dirtbox is Chinese built. Not that I have a problem with that. They just tend to avoid mentioning this. You can also buy the same thing from OVS Overland Vehicle Systems for $1000 cheaper.
It's nice they have really thought about offering more options for their customers. Making it easy to simply plug and play without all the guesswork

Picked up my V2 Pro yesterday 😝
@@laithalmas8413 how ya like it can we see 😊
Thanks for the video. I have their regular canopy. I love it. Very nice lightweight rugged great company. Curious, do we know if they fix the leaks that we’re coming in people are complaining about their mattress getting soaked thank you
Couldn’t tell from the video, but do the metal doors on the topper have rubber gaskets to keep out dust? I know the Jeep tailgate itself doesn’t, just curious if the topper/camper does.
I'm in southern Georgia where are we putting the AC can't live without it
I think these upgrades are great but still missing an important one which bed frame is still the same length, no extra space for top and bottom truck air circulation when heating or A/C on.
Take a trade in for my rsi SmartCap ? This looks great.
a Walk through !!!!!
Have you looked at Allterra products? They're built in Calgary and so there's no sales tax.
Man that color of tangerine 🍊 in the canvas is t for me , is there an option to change it ? Also the Tetris bed combo is rather have it one piece till up .
I’m really interested in the Lone Peak and ORU designs currently thanks for the content 👍
You certainly can take off roof top tent with new alucab modcap
Make stealth colors.
It still misses the mark for me personally. I’m more of a fan of the Oru Designs Bruin or Tenfold style.
Anyone know of a similar thing for us over here on the east coast?

Not crazy about the orange color.
Same old terrible ladder and very bad venting for condensation. Roof vent or a fan would be a good idea.
