Many of her demos sound actually better or at least good in a different way. Rick Nowels (Co-Producer of this song and album) even regretted offfically in an interview, that Lana did not release the Solo-Demo-version of Lust for Life and instead went for the feature with The Weeknd as the main song. It´s a masterpiece. But I guess The Weeknd was too big these days not to be featured.
